I really respect and root for the man Carson Palmer but he does make too many poor decisions and is freezing up tonight.

I hopefully agree.

I agree but his decision making is also bad.

I have no confidence we're ever going to win any championships with him.

The thing is I think our staff will figure this out and start a movement to get another QB.

Jesus. This is so painful lol. He has 100% straight trash tonight. I thought Wilson looked worse than I'd ever seen him last week. Ron Rivera/Sean McDermott are damn good.

I think his finger is also hurting him more than is being let on.

Perhaps, but his decision making has been beyond bad in the postseason and even with a healthy finger most of those throws are still intercepted or should be intercepted.

Who could have ever dreamed that we would give Carolina a way better game in the playoffs with Ryan Lindley at QB?

He had a great year, but the last 4 games he is the biggest problem with the offense.

I don't think you can possibly use this as an excuse for this performance. A bad finger doesn't make you throw into double coverage.

All that needs to be said.

Wow. Too bad we didn't have a solid backup to replace him with, as bad as he was. Stanton likely would have come in and tossed INT's too. :|

Terrible body language too. After every bad play he is talking to himself frustrated.

You have to brush that off and not letting it affect you. Palmer puts himself in a downward spiral.

Funny. The profile on him always talks about how he can throw a pick, brush it off, and come back strong. What happened to that Palmer?

Really struggling to think of another example of someone choking this badly in a big game. He just came completely unraveled. Can't even move the ball in garbage time.

That's regular season Palmer.

And I take no joy saying that. I've been a Carson fan/defender for a long time. But the guy just cant get it done in January it appears it is not an unfair stereotype as I have said many times. It's just the truth. :(:(:(:(

For the last several weeks, the blowhards calling the games have been talking about his finger.....it may have lead to some of the high throws, but almost all of his picks came on throws that had everything to do with his head, and nothing at all to do with his finger.

This is Palmer. Always has been. He chokes in big moments. Lucked out last week when he always looked scared to death. Cards will never win with him at the helm. Im sure the finger BS will be the excuse this year. Even though a completely broken finger would of healed by now.

Exactly. This is not like a Brady or someone of his caliber who happened to have one of the worst playoff performances in NFL history. It was PALMER. Someone who has yet to prove himself in the post season and someone who has been labeled a choker before. It was Palmer who just had one of the worst performances by a QB in post season history.

Time to start exploring other options no matter how remote since we know we are not going anywhere with him.

True. Can he get it done in February? The world may never know.
