Says the Cardinals probably offer $18-million two-year deal and Kurt comes back to 'finish the job.'

The Cardinals want him back and likely will offer a two-year deal somewhere in the neighborhood of $18 million. That's a hard paycheck to pass up, especially when you still have many more years to do the things you want to do.

It's more than money, though, with Warner. This loss could leave him with a void that needs filling. He might not have all his offense back, but he'll have his favorite target and friend, Fitzgerald, and he'll have a young offensive line that grew plenty this season. And he'll have a group of players that want him back.

Nice Leinart is going to become the new Aaron Rodgers though... But if Warner gets us another chance at a sb so be it!

Warner would have come back reguardless. You think if they won this the f/o isn't gonna bring him back?!

I believe Leinart should be given an equal shot again however to see what body of work he can accomplish over a prolonged period. The shot that Warner recieved with this team. Leinart can bring a better escapability run factor that was not there. But by all means props to Warner for an outstanding year. This team is ready to proceed forward with either one. JMHO.

IF Warner comes back for two years, then I would be all for trading Leinart for as much as you can get (i.e. draft picks) and pick up a QB to groom either this draft or next.

But if it is only a one year deal, then you keep Leinart.

I could not agree more.

Sign Kurt and keep Leinart. It's pretty unlikely we'll get a QB much more talented than Matt, and he has two years of learning from Kurt that we shouldn't throw away.
