I don’t know if you’re missing 3/5 of the most important area of your team and you’re starting safety and starting CB those are some significant injuries and I wouldn’t call us healthy

when you depend on guys who are chronically injured (Iupati, Pugh) you don't get to cry foul when they're injured again, IMO.

And starting CB? Come on... like there's a legit starting CB opposite PP.

And again, they've only recently been bit by the injury bug.

We were last week, but most of the season we've been intact, especially on defense.

It's completly embarrassing that Wilks came into this job saying we're gonna run the ball and we're gonna stop the run are our top priorities, and midway through his first season we can do neither.
That is what ultimately undermines his coaching...it isn't the changes that he is making, it is the changes he has made that impact the best players on the team and they still don't work. Every move Wilks has made has failed. There is no reason left to believe in him.

If anyone took notice on Thursday at the effort PP was giving this doesn't surprise me. On the TD pass to Sanders PP was running stride for stride with Sanders about 5 yds to Sander's left and never even attempted to close that gap until after Sanders caught the ball. PP possibly could have made a play on Sanders and/or the ball and instead appeared to escort Sanders to the EZ. I thought PP played really soft Thursday. Mitch took a lot of crap here when he called out PP and now it appears Mitch calling PP out was warranted. This is a supposed leader and one of the captains of the team and he's asking for a trade? Maybe I'm just old fashion but captains are suppose to rally the team and keep some sort of cohesion and PP is going in the complete opposite direction. I wonder what the other players think of PP now. This is one of your captains wanting to just ship. I personally don't see how you can keep a guy like PP around after he asks to be traded. He could easily become a cancer on the team.

PP could have left his intentions private with Bidwill and Keim and then be moved after the season. He would still be in his prime and a good deal could have been reached with some team. Instead he goes public and leaves them 9 days until the trade deadline. I could easily see PP tanking it if he doesn't get traded.
This is utter garbage. You blame one of the best players in the league because he isn't selling out to help someone who has shown to be incompetent. You think the other players care about their captain doing this when the coaching staff healthy scratches Bradford who the players voted as another captain on their team? Bad franchises call out their best players when coaching and the front office is having issues. Don't fall into that trap.

Gambo has spoken...

@Gambo987
Former teammate of Patrick Peterson tells me he doesn't want to be a part of a rebuild, wants to win a championship before he retires or have opportunity to win. Says he loves the coaches, speaks highly of Wilkes, he's not disgruntled about anything except winning.

lol...Peterson is smart. He knows the Cardinals will want to be blown away with an offer, and he doesn't want to hurt his value by being a malcontent.

Keep in mind that if you trade Peterson, and keep committed to Wilks and Keim, you can bet Chandler Jones will play the same card next season. Peterson could be our new version of Boldin. I hope it doesn't get that far. Time is a circle.

At least time ticks unlike this offense which makes watching time ticks infinitely more enjoyable

Boldin did this when we were winning. Not during the worst stretch in the history of the organization (in Arizona) with 10 weeks of practice left. This is really bad

Chandler Jones is tradeable immediately. We'd take on $9 million in dead money but save $10M against the cap in 2019.

Which is exactly why you fire Wilks & probably Keim as well. Michael has to pick a side by seasons end & live with it. We’re at a crossroads & it’s time.

Wilks has to be gone no doubt imo. He’s lost this team 7 games into his career. In all honesty, I can say I’ve never seen that happen in the NFL ever!

David Johnson and Chandler Jones quit and the franchise is toast. Also, Rosen is in a walking boot

The dudes on ESPN says the Rams having 3 stud WR’s makes PP more valuable to other NFC contenders.

I think KC will definitely hit up Keim b/c their D is trash and can take on salary with a rookie-scale QB.

This makes sense...An NFC contender like the Saints should be calling Keim.

I agree an AFC team like KC that has the offensive fire power but needs help on the other side of the ball should be calling too.

But I still don't see how the Cardinals could win in a potential trade. No team would give up 2 #1's which is what I would be asking for.

I think most will be disappointed in what we get if he is indeed traded. We certainly won’t get value & value imo

Does Pat P have a no trade clause? Personally I can’t see us getting more than a #1 & player/or #3 for the guy.

KC was really dumb to trade Peters in the first place.

If your saying the players would still prefer Bradford as their QB over Rosen after the performances he put in then the situation in AZ is more FUBAR than I can even imagine. If it's about paying Bradford then it's still FUBAR.

I suggested this was going to happen last week and was laughed at. Guess I was ahead of the curve. :soapbox::self::grabs:

PS; KC Chiefs might be a logical landing spot. ... but Saints with him being an LSU player might get some play and they need d back help to get to the SB. P P gets one more big contract for career and it won't happen here.

He isn't saying anything about Bradford STARTING, he is talking about him being inactive which costs him about $300K a week

Players are there every day. They see it all. What is funny is how McCoy apparently makes Rosen a bad QB, but there is a different standard to Bradford. Smh.

Putting Rosen in at the end of a winnable game, benching a captain veteran QB, are reasons for every vet on this team, and rookie, and fan, and front office staff member, to laugh at Wilks
