It'd be so nice if we can get Dave Pasch to replace Steve Albert.

Pasch is very busy with Cardinals football, college football, and a litany of basketball games.

Also, working with Bill Walton and Ron Wolfley as often as he's been has to be mentally taxing on him.

Its the front page story on ESPN.com. And to think the braintrust at the time wanted Felton the Bandito. Sarver saved his own franchise that day.

I think the thing I like most about Dragic is that he wanted to be here when nobody else did.

So many good comments on this page about Dragic. However, the bolded comment says a lot from my perspective. Dragic wants to be a Sun. He gives 100% towards the Suns winning. He takes being a Suns player personal.

We missed out :(

I think the Suns could have claimed Fredette off waivers by paying the remainder of his salary this season which is quite reasonable. I understand this is how it works. I guess most teams are unwilling to do this. Maybe the Suns like their back court the way it is composed with Bledsoe hopefully coming back.

I know they always say nobody is untouchable but IMO the Suns would have to get a top 5 player back to trade Dragic and as great as he's been by himself we need to see more of what him and Bledsoe playing together can do.

If it meant the Suns could get a top quality FC, I would trade Bledsoe rather than Dragic. PGs are easier to replace than big men. I like the Morris twins coming off the bench for the Suns but the rest of the Suns front court is extremely weak. I would like to give Plumlee and especially Len time to grow but the Suns desperately need an upgrade at the PF or FC position.

I could argue that Ish is not a true PG in the sense, distributing the ball is not his strong suit.
It looks like Ish said otherwise vs. the Pelicans.

In 23+ minutes, he led the Suns in assists with 6 and, playing alongside Dragic a lot, freed up Goran to score a career high 40 points.

Even if he becomes strength in reserve if and when Bledsoe comes back, that's pretty good insurance. A lot better than the former Blur has been.

In an interview yesterday, when Barbosa was asked who was faster, Leandro when he was younger or Ish now, Leandro declined to answer. That was an answer!

IMO, Leandro was typically trying to be polite. I believed Leandro finally said something to the effect he might have been quicker with the dribble when he was younger.

Also I believe Barbosa said it wasn't relevant because they play on the same team.

I can't find the link that gives his answer. Do you have it?

No, sorry I don't. I might have read it in the Republic or on AzCentral.com

Late to the party but loved how aggressive Dragic was at going right at Davis. He's just relentless on his drives to the basket.

I thought what was most amazing was how Dragic attacked Davis in the paint. Davis is the best shot blocker in the league, to drive right at him takes some serious guts and to actually make the shot takes some serious skill.

And to do it while nursing a sprained ankle. That is fortitude! That's star quality. Is it too early to say that he could be the next Steve Nash, rising to the occasion when he is injured?

Plumlee tried to go at him early too unfortunately they had a help defender that could also block shots (Ajinca). Goran has played the game long enough to know you go straight at a shot blocker, anything else is foolhardy. It's not always easy to complete the shot when you're also focusing on making it hard on the defender like that but Dragic kept his cool and made some very tough shots.
