Only Dwight Howard's shoulders could match up with Davis.

Actually this was a winnable game because the Pelicans could not put the Suns away despite their lack of size.

What happened to all the Suns centers. LOL

Davis 53 points 17 rebounds 5 blocks

Booker 40 points 10 rebounds 7 assist

Last Two games Suns have gone down to the wire with two playoff teams and it took super hero efforts from Dame and Davis

Booker has gone head up with both stars but Suns fall short again. Just getting nothing from the front court.

Good game from Jackson and Payton tonight. I really like what I see from both those guys. I wonder what this team would look like with Ayton in the front court

If the Suns keep Payton, I wouldn't mind drafting center and power forward in the draft.

Hmm...Booker 41 mpg on this one. 40 points. Hmm.

I do not like Booker playing this many minutes. The Suns were trying to play without a backup PG as Harrison only played 2 minutes. Ulis did not play at all. Hope this is not a pattern.

Who cares how many minutes Booker played, they still lost. It's not ideal that he played 41 minutes but without Ulis and Chandler in the game it's not surprising he played big minutes. They also had to play the majority of the 4th quarter without Bender and Chriss and once Len was tossed they were even more depleted. When you're missing 5 players from your rotation, the other players minutes will be up. They shouldn't be trying to lose by more by sitting Booker in the 4th quarter because his minutes are up. A loss is a loss, no matter how they got there.

Yeah but Book played 39 minutes last game. The suns are going to kick the crap out of the other tanking teams.

And they lost that game also. If they start winning then I can understand concern but there's no need to panic because he's playing big minutes in losses.

I do not like the idea of playing Booker heavy minutes when the Suns are going nowhere. Harrison played only 2 minutes. As far as I can determine, Ulis was available as well.

I do not get the why part. From my perspective tanking has nothing to do with it. The Suns may have had a shortage of big men due to foul trouble but they had the guards and Dudley to play.

Hard to not play a guy big minutes when he is going off like Booker was. I don’t think it’s going to stay this way for the rest of the year.

You want to keep Booker engaged and happy. Sitting him when he is having a hot game is not the way to do it. It would add frustration on top of the losing. He is young, and this is part of the development process anyway.

FTFY

I don't think Triano is a good enough coach. Booker is single-handedly trying to sink our tank is what you should have said.

No because Triano is playing the heck out of Booker in minutes. I think Triano and Booker are trying to finish the season strong for their own future contracts.

Yeah well Booker needs additional top tier talent on this team or he's going to bail anyway...eventually.

And in my opinion, you're giving Triano too much credit. Sitting Booker creates a whole new set of problems.

But does he have to play him 40 mpg? I mean is their no middle ground? I'd understand Payton getting that kind of minutes because we want to evaluate him.

The "middle ground" exists in that he does not average 40 minutes per game. He isn't even averaging as many as he did last year.

Really, isn't it enough that we're losing? Can't you just be happy with that? Do we really need to complain about a few extra minutes in one game where Booker was hot?

Look...we have no room for error. This draft is too important and the competition with the other tanking teams is too tight. I don't like this pattern at all. Booker's last last two games were 39 and 41 minutes. Here we are late in the season in exactly the situation we want to be in and it's being messed with...for what??
