I did not know there was a prerequisite which made finding various problems as an excuse to add variety to the mix of complaining about a team because one flaw overrides them LOL

Do you really want to read 300 threads about this incredibly inept offensive line? Two weeks of threads that do nothing but focus on our biggest weakness and even a Tebow trade discussion will start to sound interesting.

I only feel a need to complain where the real problem exist, if it already has been posted...then one finding another minor fault in comparison is pointless and there is really nothing to post about. Yes, losing makes for a boring site when the obvious flaws no longer need to be posted. The rest is laughable piling on to me.

Just like 2010 when people would blame everything on the poor QB play ignoring the deficiencies in other areas that came to light in 2011 with the 1-6 start.

People are mad and upset. We are because we are fans that want to see this team do well regardless in the end what we choose to worry about. It really stinks feeling like the same ol' Cards. This is where Michael Bidwill Jr. will prove more than ever if this franchise has change or is willing to change to improve.

I think we have bigger issues than Patrick Peterson on this team. He is better at CB than he was last year, but is not a shut down corner yet. I am more concerned with our terrible offense than whether or not our CB with top 5 athleticism is developing quick enough.

On the other hand it has been the Defense that has been keeping the Cards in games. Potential problems on that side of the ball are a major concern. I sure not looking forward to 5-6 games like Monday's the rest of the season.

and I agree as a head coach, I would do everything I could to keep the defense playing at a high level and not getting sloppy. However, I can't imagine there is anyone in the organization who is wringing their hands over Patrick Peterson right now. The defensive unit yes, but not Peterson specifically. Much bigger problems to focus on.

Peterson is a stud that needs coaching, firm coaching that is all.

He was freelancing, trying to be a hero, that's what happens when the wheels fly off the bus and the exits are on fire, everyone starts trying to be the hero, that's what he was doing he was trying to jump routes and they torched him for it.

It's not because he can't play, he's a stud when he does what he is told to do, it's on coaching to make sure he stays on plan, he went off plan, no one sat him down for it, I blame the coaches but to think he's a bust is ridiculous, he's not.

Nobody is saying Peterson's a bust. Just that he's not as good as people were reporting and therefore overrated.

It's just like this preseason when pundits were saying the Longhorns would have a dominant defense and struggle on offense and the opposite has occurred. Folks were just wrong about Peterson. Overstating his CB skills mainly because of PPs punt returns.

Yep direct result of the offense being so bad the defense thinks they have to win the games by themselves.

But I do agree the coaches have to clamp down on it.

Whatever.

You don't like it? Then don't read it.

If you read it and hate it ? Then don't comment on it.

If you read it, hate it, comment on it, in a way that is ripping the thread, the subject and all those who are talking in it ? Then don't bitch about how you angered people, and now they are telling you what they think about it.

For pete's sake, its a public board.

Peterson is not a shutdown corner, teams know that they can throw it in his side when 1-1 matchup is there. He is a solid corner, but not suited to play without help from over the top. He has been beat alot and not always explained by lack of rush, on contrary most of that has been on high pressure in a gaps or from our stud d-line.

DRC is a shutdown corner, but a bad tackler. He was terrible as zone corner, horrible. As man to man corner, he is a special talent.

I can't wait for the post game presser when wiz laments our "missed opportunities" again for the umpteenth time.

The sad part is, we are. We chances in this game but either failed to catch the ball, make a play on the ball, pick up the fumble, hit the open receiver or make the tackle.

Someone on this team does need to sit down with Peterson because he is trying WAY too hard. Two muffed punts, a couple missed tackles and he failed to fall on the fumble. He needs to slow down.

He really has vanished lately except when I see him miss a tacke by throwing his shoulder at someone. I wonder if it is how he is being used or what. Hard to tell from the TV.
