Some of those replies are pretty funny.
How do you describe your offense?

What sort of receiving routes do you use?

Ok guess Kyler gets your vote for starting QB next season. Got itReread what you posted.
If the student didn’t show any level of execution, Petzing wouldn’t be requested for interviews at all.
Or… these teams are watching tape and are seeing all the missed opportunities from the quarterback position and give Petzing his due.Reread what you posted.

Who else you bringing in? Washed Double A Ron or Curt Cousins? lolOk guess Kyler gets your vote for starting QB next season. Got it
Aye, how about posting something of substance instead of just doing your monthly “I hate Kyler” posts? Go to the “Kyler Murray Debate Thread” where you can read & take notes from people who actually & rightfully criticizes Kyler with substance.Ok guess Kyler gets your vote for starting QB next season. I feel like you’re not understanding this on purpose.Or… these teams are watching tape and are seeing all the missed opportunities from the quarterback position and give Petzing his due.
This 100%!!!!We scored a lot but couldn't score when we needed to the most. Multiple, multiple times.
I read you're qualified for the position lolWho else you bringing in? Washed Double A Ron or Curt Cousins? lol

I think they’ll hire Ben Johnson once Detroit is done. This would be a really weird fit. The Bears current offensive personnel seems like the antithesis of what Drew wants for his scheme:
- a QB in Caleb who is best when he improvs
- a RB in Swift who doesn't like contact
- a lot of resources invested in WRs
- Cole Kmet is OK, but he is certainly no McBride
I think his interview is likely just a favor to get his name out there for HC jobs, but it's the Bears, so you never know.
Crazy to think about but good to see. It’s funny: of the top 5 scoring offenses this season ZERO have a play caller/head coach.
I think the idea is you look at the similarities between Kyler and Caleb, and you want an offense to let Caleb grow into. This would be a really weird fit. The Bears current offensive personnel seems like the antithesis of what Drew wants for his scheme:

Then why was he fired?this dude ain't too shabby
Eh. Offense underperformed it's talent because it is too conservative. I don't really care how we are relative to the whole league, I am concerned about how well we are maximizing our talent.i know we dont want to hear it -- but the Cards by nearly every measure had a top 12 offense
Yards? 12th
Yards per play? 7th
Points? 12th
Third down Conversion? 8th
Yards per Passing Attempt? 17th
Yards per Rush? 3rd
it needs to be better on a variety of measures, but there is something to build on here--
I understand what you are saying but statistical rankings have to be considered. The only player who I think was underserved was MHJ, but I also think MHJ was part of the reason why. Ultimately, I think the offense pretty much much met it’s talent level.Eh. Offense underperformed it's talent because it is too conservative. Really - so you think 21 touchdown passes by Kyler, and Wilson and Dorch's performances were acceptable?I understand what you are saying but statistical rankings have to be considered. I think he thinks this is the best Kyler will be able to do.Really - so you think 21 touchdown passes by Kyler, and Wilson and Dorch's performances were acceptable?
I had much higher expectations than that.
Same can be said about keeping PetzingKeep in mind if Petzing goes (unlikely) installing a new offense will not be smooth. It could cost games.
but if they were top 12 in scoring, does it really matter if the TDs were rushing TDs vs passing TDs?Really - so you think 21 touchdown passes by Kyler, and Wilson and Dorch's performances were acceptable?
