Did Steve Nash replace Rosie on "The View" or something? Leandro Barbosa's Mom just died, Shaq's great-grandmother died over the weekend, the Suns' offense has been OJ'd by Terry Porter, and all they seem to talk about is how Steve Nash must be having a bad game because he misses his best friend? Honestly, I wouldn't have much of a problem with it, but has anybody considered how this must make Dirk feel? What if he was watching this game tonight, sitting on his couch, hearing all about how his son's godfather and how he misses his best friend.

I hope they write an article about this on the ESPN homepage soon.

The way the commentators tell it, it sounds like Nash was crying about it for a long time. In reality, he probably said it bummed him out that Raja left, but they would deal with it and move on with the new guy.

Making more out of it is exactly what those idiots at ESPN want you to do.

Give Amare a break. For a five minute stretch in the last when the game was up for grabs, Nash and Barbs were using him for his screens and nothing else. They bloody re-post Shaq 15 f'n times, but yet as soon as Amare kicks it out, it's a 3 point shot with a long rebound that goes over Amare's head, further giving everyone more reason to lay the boots in.

Just for the record, I thought everyone played good tonight. Nash was a bit off, but it's understandable. But to fault Stoudemire, and Stoudemire alone, is a joke

We were missing our starting C, starting SG, backup PG, and a talented but highly inconsistent backup big man yet only lost by 5 on the road to the team with the best record in the Western Conference. Nothing really to complain about for me. In fact it makes me more pumped up for when Richardson joins the team

If I was a Laker fan, I'd be worried because their defensive effort the past 2 games has been absolutely embarassing.

2 games? The Lakers have played like garbage for the last 6 games. Pathetic defense, no heart, giving up 30 point 4th quarters. Not any different than the suns. By that I mean trying to implement a new defense. The look absolutely lost.

It's been more than the past 2 games. It started a few weeks ago, where they ignored defense for an entire half, then would kick it in during the second half. That became one quarter of d, then somewhere between no D or 2-3 minutes of D (tonight they gave the 2 minute version to get the late lead to win it).

Atrocious. I can't believe how upset I am with a team that is 18-3. They aren't overachievers anymore...they now have expectations. One of them is to play defense the way they did at the start of the season. Or at least pretend to give two seashells about defense.

I'm beginning to fear this funk he is in may be irreversible. I hope JRich shakes up the mojo on the court for him.

Give Nash a break guys, his friend was traded of course he is going to be a little down. Not only will he miss a friend but he is probably worried about his own future too judging by his comments -

"I hope it's not a situation where they're just trying to blow it up,"
