Need more time to negotiate out of court. Honestly, I don't care about this anymore. If they go to jail, fine. If they settle out fine. I just don't really care.

I only care as much as how it effect the Suns. It is a distraction. I hope this matter is settled in some fashion without going to trial because I do not want it to keep dragging on.

The defense lawyers for the Morris twins seek a new grand jury. See article by Anthony Marroquin at azcentral dated 8-3-15.

The defense attorneys for Marcus and Markieff Morris have asked a Maricopa County Superior Court judge to return the case to a grand jury because they say prosecutors falsely presented information that led to an indictment on charges of aggravated assault.

Prosecutors presented "false and misleading evidence" and withheld information vital to the case, the Morris twins' attorneys said in motion to return the case to a grand jury to determine whether there is probable cause to indict the NBA players.

Someone is reporting that the judged was ticked they did not attend this in person.

You have to wonder. They will eventually face an Arizona judge, they could potentially face and Arizona jury. How wise is it to make enemies of almost everyone that will determine your future? But then, arguing with refs constantly is the same thing, isn't it? These two were not blessed with an overabundance of gray matter.

Do you have a link?

Also I would think it prudent not to make public that he wants to leave the Suns while this court matter is still ongoing. The charges are serious.

I know this isn't the best source. But hey, things are slow.

While their lawyers are trying to get a new grand jury review of the case, the Morris twins just decided they didn't have to show up to the hearing.

The judge didn't take kindly to this, and since let the twins know that they are fully expected to show for the next hearing.

An interesting read.

Also here is a quote from an article at The Republic/ azcentral.com written by Anthony Marroquin dated 8-3-15.

The judge also scheduled a conference hearing on Sept. 16 and stressed that the twins could not waive their appearance at all hearings.

Personally, I don't think it is wise to test limits while pending criminal charges.

JC, that's an alright source to me, tons of other info I hadn't seen before. They may not be 'big', but they are definitely doing research.

With Marcus Morris dumping his agent this week

So Marcus dumped his agent, and they didn't show up for the hearing?

These guys continue to showcase through their actions that they are a few slices short of a loaf.

They are gluten free! :)

I guess, in the case of Markeiff, that means the Suns can just wait it out and, hopefully, move on without him in their primary plans. I hope so.
