Heck, it took me til almost 2005 until I saw the Star Wars movies....

I actually got this DVD for my birthday over a year ago and still haven’t watched it. I really can’t stand Orlando Bloom, so I guess that’s why I haven’t watched it yet. I’m a huge Depp fan though, so hopefully it will equal out.

loved the first one, this one not so much. johnny depp was the only saving grace. he just is so good in this role. the story line kinda bored me and it seemed to drag on a little too long. the undead pirates were cool, but the krakken? come on...

anyone see the transformers preview? cant wait!

Saw PotC II today...theater in small town Safford was packed for the 2 pm show. I think all the Miami Vice talk that it will push PotC to 2nd is preliminary, but we'll see.

I loved the movie...very funny, and great effects. Depp is amazing in this role...and I liked the myriads of conflict/desire/purpose for each character. Ending was great, and I can't wait for the 3rd one.

And Davey Jones was just gross as hell.

I saw it too, it was a really good movie. Like you said, very funny and great effects. Depp was great. Good thing I don't have to wait too much longer for the 3rd one because I really want to see it. I don't think Miami Vice will really be close to POTC 2 but I do want to see that one also.

I finally watched this one. Fun movie from start to finish. I’m looking forward to seeing the 2nd one.
