Need to stop turning the ball over they likely can’t shoot that well more than a game or two. Even freaking Gordon was making fade sways lol. They were red hot and we played a bit sloppy and Ayton well just sucks! Hope to see a better effort tomorrow night!
You know I think the turnover problem from game 1 won't be repeated at least not by Durant (7 turnovers) & Booker(3 turnovers). Denver treasured that first win more because the Suns eliminated them last time and they certainly didn't want the Suns to start up 1-0 on them.

With our weak bench more scoring & defense needed by our starters while hoping they can stay on the floor by playing smart and avoiding fouls.

Denver has 3 sure scorers in Jokic, Jamaal, and Gordon and a maybe Michael Porter while Suns have two sure scorers Durant and Booker everybody else is a maybe or maybe not. And Ayton, CP3, and Craig are more maybe not scorers than maybes.

Thing that got me with Ayton while he stepped off the court 200 lb Durant was battling 285 lb Jokic for a rebound while self proclaim Damination Ayton just looked on out of paint. Buy a ticket if you want to watch Ayton!!!

The Suns need to start Craig on Monday and go back to what works. No Shamet.

Bring Payne, Okogie, Landale and Lee off the bench.
I think he was hoping moving Craig to the bench would spark some offense off the bench but Craig to me looks more comfortable starting.

All this talk about Shamet is a distraction.

The difference between him and anyone else we have on the bench is not that much.

The only way we can win this series is an extreme focus on defense and rebounding. I wish I had more confidence in Monty to motivate and make the necessary changes, but he doesn't have a good track record.

Its huge imo, we need guys to knock down shots. Shamet I think is 25% from behind the line. Get me someone who can make 35-45% and that's a huge boost for our offense and making them hold someone other than Shamet accountable.

So who is that?

Every bench player we have is flawed. The best one IMO is TJ Warren, but he's not gonna sniff the court apparently.

Shamet may shoot 25% from three, but he is taking 2 shots a game. Actually in game one he took 1 shot - a three and he made it. Yet I hear fans everywhere blaming him for the loss. Sorry it is not nearly that simple.

Am I crazy for thinking this.. would we be better starting Biz and having Ayton come on the bench? Maybe even Paul also? Seems like we have enough scorers already. Would be a nice boost from the bench against the opponents second team.

I am tired and maybe thinking crazy. Not saying this should be done but just wanted to see what your thoughts.

I don't think Ayton has the temperament to accept a move to the bench. We already have enough trouble getting him to focus and play with intensity, I think moving him out of the starting rotation would just make it much worse.

Yes, I think you are crazy for thinking that.

Our starters lost to their starters in Game 1. Putting less of our starters on the court is only going to make things worse.

Again, this isn't really that hard to understand. In game 1 we turned it over too much, didn't take enough 3's, and got badly outrebounded.

They took 17 more shots than us. That is too much to make up for with shot efficiency.

Regardless of the turn over and such you listed. How much use are we getting from Ayton in the starting rotation scoring wise when we have Booker and KD on the floor with him? Wouldn’t he do better against bench players?

Yes, I know its not hard to understand. It was more of how do we better use our players from here on out and not against what happened in game 1.

It was just an idea thrown out there for conversation. My knowledge of basketball is not high and I don’t go around thinking it is. Just throwing ideas and wanting thoughts.

Yea.. he doesn’t seem to have that urgency already.. It might send him even deeper into that mode.

Yeah I don't think the Suns will turn the ball over like that first game. I look for some better ball handling this time. Durant is not going to turn it over 7 times like last game.

The Nuggets hit some very difficult shots & of course our defense lack that game. We need Book and Durant will be ready this go round. And they will. Come on bench follow up too. We will recover game 2.

No. The truth is Ayton sucks at scoring. The only way he scores is when others set him up. The only way that happens is when there are other threats on the floor.

Putting him out there with just CP, or Cam Payne and he just won't be effective. He turns the ball over way to much if you try and make him a scorer in that kind of situation.

IMO we would be far better off going with a small lineup of Payne, Warren, Lee/Ross, Craig, and Book. Jeff Green is not a center, and we are getting no advantage trying to post up Ayton, because as I just stated Ayton sucks when we try to force the ball into him.

Shamet was on the court 14 minutes in game 1. He puts up one shot and granted he made it. So either he's not being aggressive which he is suppose to do as a backup shooting guard or the Nuggets are shutting his a** down. If they are shutting him down he needs to see bench. If all 5 players on the court performed at that rate for over a quarter (12 minutes) of the game we would have less than a 15 point quarter. How many games can be won with that type of productivity?

I for one am happy when Shamet doesn't shoot unless the clock is about to expire or it's an easy lay up put back. I think he's in there strictly as a defensive body, when I say defensive body I say that as compared to Ross, Buckets, Lee, etc

But anyway, not defending Shamet or his playing time in anyway shape or form so don't come at me lol I just wanted to share that I found my purple large Bic lighter

It's my favorite weed smoking lighter and I believe it's 3-0 in these here playoffs. Wife somehow got a hold of it thought it was gonzo so I consider this to be a good omen for tonight's game
