I don't foresee any changes in positioning this season so the 2011 schedule is pretty much set in stone. As it stands right now, this is what our schedule will look like:

Home Games
Seahawks
49ers(no doubt a season opener or prime time game)
Rams
Eagles
Redskins
Ravens
Bengals
Panthers

Away Games
Seahawks
49ers
Rams
Cowgirls
Giants
Steelers
Browns
Lions

Schedule is a lot tougher than this years for sure. Especially playing the AFC North and if things don't change on this team dramatically, we're looking at a rough season next year.

that's impossible to project at this point and the one thing we know for sure at this point, is that we should have the easiest schedule in our division. I'd much rather play Carolina and Detroit as opposed to Chicago and Atlanta or Green Bay and New Orleans.

Isn't it strange we seem to play the Panthers every year?

Oddly somehow both teams seem to finish in the same place in their respective divisions. As long as they continue to do that they'll play every single year. Hopefully the Panthers win their division next year.

Easiest schedule only by the fact we finished last and play the last place team in the other divisions because other than those 2 games, we all play the same teams. But let's be real, do you see us beating Detroit right now? I sure as hell don't.

Would you rather play Green Bay or Chicago? The only difference between our schedule and the schedule or whoever wins the West is that we play other last place teams and they play other division winners. Ergo our schedule is easier.

Not so fast. We could still end up playing the Vikings instead of the Lions. Detroit plays Minnesota last game of the season, loser probably gets last place.

Of course, the year we went to the SB, the Rams came in last place and got the honor of playing the Saints instead of Carolina the next year, so you never really know your strength of schedule before hand.

Another loss. They will rush for 150 yards easy.

isnt that the truth?

it seems every year, the Cardinals play a offensively challenged Panthers team -- yet are always able to run for 5 yards a pop and whomever they play at QB makes enough throws to beat them.

Last four regular season games the Cards have faced Vinny Testaverde (playing on one week's worth of practice), Jake Delhomme on his last legs and now Jimmy Clausen. Those QBs have gone 60/94 (64%) with 5 tds and 0 ints. How pathetic is that?

You might be right because Detroit plays at Miami who can't seem to win at home then home against Minny. Minny is at Philly, however, Philly might be ripe for the picking next week.

Looks like a schedule tailor made for another double digit loss season.

I should get to the Giants and Steelers games. 6-10 is my prediction.

We could easily go 0-8 on the road next year. 1-7 is conservative. 2-6 is the best it gets IMO if we beat the Browns and Lions.

With this crappy division, if Skelton can progress, the Cards can also easily split their road games.

Since next season, if there even IS a next season, is likely to be an 18 game schedule, that would basically do away with the current rotation that's been in place for the past decade.

So there's really no way to guess how a schedule will be set until the owners & players agree on a labor deal and we see how many games are being played and how the league will then set up a schedule.

This is far from set in stone. There was an article about how this was the last year of the rotating schedule at the beginning of the year. They stated there was no idea where the new schedule would start in terms of a new rotation.

The division games won't change, and those are the ones that will determine how successful our season will be.

Great point. I was thinking the most likely thing would be that the rotation would remain, and they'd add two "flavor" games to each teams schedule. Meaning we'd probably play Dallas every year. But that is just my wild guess who knows what the NFL is thinking anymore. The symmetrical option is to have 6 division games. Then play 3 other divisions. Likely one out of conference, two in conference.
