It's very strange how everyone seems to play worse once they become James's teammate. Hughes, Marshall, and Jones are all prime examples.

It could also be said that those three players overachieved the year before the Cavs signed them.

The same could be said about Eric Snow as his downward spiral since joining Clevland and Lebron. He was a key piece in Philly's success. He seems to be a complete non-factor now with Lebron.

I think it would be really funny if Ainge took back Banks for anything, even a bag of potato chips. I almost want that to happen because we'd probably be able to see the nuclear reaction fused in Sport Guy's head from our distant Phoenix back yards. And Ainge would probably want to cut back on his career and spend more time with his family after that trade, since his family is less likely to lynch him on Nashua Street.

Awesome...the Suns dump Eddie House so they can get real help at guard, and six months later they're trying to get Eddie House back, but at $3m/yr, and it might cost them a pick.

If the Suns are dumping Banks and a good first-round pick (and pretty much every first-round pick is supposed to be a good one this year), they'd better be getting somebody who can immediately and obviously contribute. If Cleveland, Sacto and Minnesota are the other teams, I don't see anybody below John Salmons who fits that bill.

It was definitely a mistake to sign Banks to that kind of money for that long a term, and I think the Suns are willing to admit it if they can undo the mistake a little.

But Eddie House? C'mon man.

I was never on the House wagon, even when he was hitting shots in December 2005. I like Banks a lot better.

What I'm saying is, the main difference between House and Damon Jones is the price tag.

I'd like to see a Banks + Marks (or Pike) + Suns first rounder for Mike Pietrus and Zarko but it won't happen, unfortunately.

According to Chad Ford on ESPN, the Suns are trying to get Drew Gooden from the Cavs. His speculation is in exchange for possibly Banks, KT and a couple picks. I would possibly do Banks, KT and 1 pick but not neccessarily 2.

I checked that on the trade checker and the Cavs would have to give up more than that. I'm thinking maybe KT, Banks and Cavs pick for Gooden, Damon Jones and Pavlovic

I think that Pavlovic would be a great fit here, and Gooden would definitely help with the boards (though his defense is pretty suspect).
