this loss is on gannon and petzing - we should've never needed the touch down - but I digress - it all made sense to me today - I was like oh - that's how we're going to lose today

kyler did nothing for his cause or to hurt it - typical kyler - outplayed by the opposing quarterback

carter was good as was our defense but gannon and petzing can kiss my ass with those bone headed decisions - Conner had no business running that ball - uhg

Being happy about a tough loss in week 16 to help your draft stock when you’re not in line for the #1 pick is BS imo.
If we would have got rolled up 40-10 I would be feeling very blue right now.
We fought like wounded dogs, which by the way we were. Both starting tackles out and down to our 4 th back.
MHJ showed a spark tonight. McBride was McBride. Defense played very good
Lots of positives in a hard fought loss in a meaningless game…and a higher draft pick.

Yep the jump ball still surprised me that Marv didn't get up very high but this was his best game since Miami. Didn't see any drops, he seemed to run good routes and he made a couple of contested catches.

The play in this game that drove me nuts was the 30 plus yarder to Trey that came back because an OL was downfield. Kurt tried to be nice, that much time running QB you get antsy but come on Kyler is sitting in the pocket waiting looking there's ZERO excuse for an OL to get downfield but Adams did and then tried to sneak back. That was a huge play IMO

I’m liking the fight in this team (especially the D), but yeah, concerned that we’re finding ways to lose games. We’ve had our opportunities to get the job done the past couple of weeks and just haven’t been able to make it happen. Not a great thing for this long-suffering franchise and tonight was no exception as AZ had twice the number of first downs (24-12), won the battle of time of possession (36:55 to 23:05), and out-gained LA by 139 yards. JG has, IMHO, simply got to install some confidence in this group next year. We should be winning close games.

I lost $1,700 on MHJ not catching a TD, but a competitive loss is a great result. Showcases the issues we have and improves our draft position without being a roll over and die team when there is nothing on the line.

This was just unbelievable to me. A win staring you in the face and you totally blow it. Sickening. I hate this f’ing team.
My thoughts precisely!
Exactly like the Vikings game.
1st and goal at the 5 to go up by 10 with 5 min left.

I'm just grasping at straws about getting a 'better' draft pick, really. No one really knows if a 15th overall pick or a 17th overall pick will be better anyway. It took me two hours to get to sleep with my brain replaying that last play from offense, so I'm looking for any aluminum lining right now.

Yeah I'm way over rooting for losses for draft position.

The thing that bugged me the most was Murray still having no answer for the blitz after 6 years. It was ironic having Warner there to witness that. The one guy that begged you to blitz him.

It was good to see Marvin have a good game though. That was encouraging.

It was also good to see the rookie olinemen get reps. They seemed to do alright.

Couldn't agree more. I hate losing, but I'll feel better about it come Draft Time. NO DOUBT in my mind that our future is better than the Rams, and we're a good pass rusher away from being a playoff team. Even with a healthy Conner we would have won by double digits. Play calling has to improve, but we are in much better shape since Monti arrived. IMO, a night and day difference, even if this loss hurts. A lot.
