He earned it, I mean Heap and King are old- better but won't stay better! I want to see the Skelton Boys together - cause thats just cool!

Lumpkins - thought for sure He earned a job as a Raider as he blew up Leinart! Raiders love that stuff- at least Davis' raiders,

That is awesome. Glad to see he is realizes how lucky he is to play. Not everyone does.

They were talking to John about his bro on Sirius other day and he was saying how lucky Steve feels. And yet he was still disappointed he wasn't likely to make the team. I hope he improves enough to find a roster spot, he seems like a good guy.

I know there is a <1% chance of this happening, but wouldn't it be cool if John threw a Touchdown pass to his brother Steve in the Superbowl? That would be memorable and touching moment IMO

No Blake Gideon?? Disappointed..

The games I watched he was always around the ball.

He was good at ASU. He's got talent.

I really don't think he has NFL level talent and although he finished strong, his first 3 years at ASU were disappointing. I'm a die hard Devil and always want to see them do well at the next level but he's one of the few guys that I'd just as soon never see again. About the only thing he does well is throw the ball out of bounds to stop the clock. Unfortunately, he does this after catching the ball downfield. I'm not sure what game that's legal in but he's mastered that skill for sure.

He won't stick with us. He loses too many balls off his chest and despite his size, he doesn't win any jump balls (short arms).

Steve

Personally, I'm glad to see Robinson on the practice squad. Good size and pretty athletic. Will be interested to see if he can progress into an NFL player.

Agree - he's a steal to have in the PS.

Does this mean Lumpkin has to pay his $21,000 fine for plowing Leinart?

So far, only 2 of our cuts have been resigned. Does anyone know if any of our cuts got claimed?

I think we will see Larry Parker on the PS. Gideon as some have mentioned is another possibility. Also find it hard to believe we wouldn't take back DJ Young. How can you start a guy in the 3rd preseason game - the dress rehearsal game - and not keep him on the PS? And yes, I know he was bad that game. There just aren't any OT available. Keeping Potter when he was behind DJ the whole preseason tells you that.

Not unless he makes the active roster, in which case he'll have to pay.

Besides, because it was Leinart, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the veteran defensive players (and perhaps some front office guys and coaches) all chipped in (and then some) to reimburse Lumpkin for the fine. :D

Love Robinson. He was a beast locally in high school, and was thrilled he went to ASU.

You could see the talent, but he just couldn't put it all together his first couple of years. By his senior year he become everything we thought he was going to be.

Talented, big body, and worth the practice squad roster spot. It's very possible he continues in the NFL like he did in college, just gets steadily better. He might be our camp breakout in 2013.

Interesting to see Robinson.

I was hoping for Omar Bolden, but I knew he was making the active roster. Aw well.

Do I gotta say it? Steve Skelton? Really. How many TEs does this team need considering we rarely use 1? Odds that this is a move at the behest of John seems likely. That spot should be reserved for Potter or some developmental player, not Steve, who will never ever play a down in the NFL.

We're thin at FB (the Shermanator backed up by no one). But Dray is technically a multi-positioned back up as TE, H-Back and FB. Should Dray get injured, we can bring up S Skelton from the PS.

When was the last time a player came off the practice squad to do anything as a regular player for the Cardinals? Antonio Smith 7-8 years ago?

I can't remember anyone else.

I'm pretty sure that Money Mike (Adams) was a practice squad member at one time.
