He is simply not a 2nd string backup QB in the NFL

Agree. Is anyone really thinking he’s our 2nd string option? McCoy is secure at #2. The question is Streveler special enough as a gimmicky toy to actually secure a 53 man roster spot? I don’t think so, but time will tell.

Rather keep 7 wrs on the roster than keep 3 QBs. Strev should be safe on the practice squad.
