I know it’s early, but let’s prepare ourselves for the preseason and what to expect.

I believe once again we will hold our Cards close to the vest. We will see bits and pieces of what we are looking forward to. That being said I can see many of us blowing this site up because we aren’t scoring 40 pts. in our preseason games.

I believe we will see Murray play a LITTLE bit more than your average starting Qb.

What do you think?

You better see a lot of him not much game 1 about a half game 2, at least 3 quarters game 3 and at least one half in game 4, dont worry bout him getting hurt because ho one can ever touch him also he showed so much in his (1) season starting that we will just give him the Lombardi Trophy after the 1st preseason game

He's going to play a lot in pre season considering our QB depth is pretty non-existent. We might now show a lot but he's going to be on the field a lot, especially in the 3rd game.

Preseason will be crazy (1) because we never saw Kingsbury, his offense, his QB or his coaching style before and (2) there figures to be ferociious roster battles at OL, WR and CB where we have a gazillion prospects battling for a small number of roster spots.

Exactly. And if we score 10 pts. In the first preseason game a mini meltdown will start.

I think Murray is going to get a bunch of work. With his lack of starting experience he needs reps. Last year was unique in that the team was worried about Bradford's health. You can't take a guy #1 and then baby him like that.

The more KK shows in preseason the quicker teams will be ready to defend. We’ll see bits and pieces, but most will be setup in practices. The key will be drilling the WRs on their routes and the importance of precision. Put DJ and last year’s receivers in that mix. Only Isabella & Fitz are accurate route runners. If you’re going to run 4 WR sets you don’t want sloppy routes drawing two defenders to the same area. That’s how you spike interceptions. To me a important part of preseason is Murray getting down the speed and abilities of the receivers. It will still be fun to watch. Also there will be great importance in finding a functional, starting OL. The backups will also be critical as fragility is a factor in many on this unit.
