I really want to do see Pippen do well.

I wish we would just keep him around even when it is just sitting on the IR.

Trevor Huffman sucks in my opinion. Of course I have never seen him play. But just the fact that he played in Germany last season and I can't even remeber him tells me that he isn't NBA material.

The sign of true intelligence.

The only reason you want to "see Pippen do well" is because of who he is related to.

 - i'd say it's not a bad way to gauge how good someone is by the fact you've never heard of them, particularly if you follow that league. I'd take slin's word for it, I'm sure he sucks.

Oh I wish I could be as intelligent as...

What would you say if someone asked you how good Brandon Armstrong is?

Gee, I'd probably say "I don't know." Not, well, "since I've heard the name but can't recall him, he probably sucks."

You're sure he sucks? Well, then, just kick him off the team. As long as slin and tTs says he sucks, well...

Tell me, what are the lottery numbers going to be on Friday? :D

Please tell me how good can a 6'1 PG be that you have never heard of although he is playing in your country in a below average basketball league on an average team at best.

Trevor Huffman

It'd probably be wise to look at the kid's resume as well as his play before judging him so harshly.

He's been compared favorably to Mark Price, is the all-time scoring leader at Kent State, leading them to the Elite 8 in the NCAA's & has the stamp of approval of Dan Majerle - to name a few things.

In short, give the kid a chance. Hell, Jeff Hornacek, after all, was originally a walk-on at Iowa years ago....................................

Trevor Huffman was MVP of his team. Go to suns.com and you can read about the guy you never heard of before you say he "sucks"

Come this guy is a joke.

He is quoted complaining about going to Europe to play and that he had to practice outside or something and that he would retire if he ever had to practice outside again.

What kind of attitude is that?

When you can't go to the NBA because you are not good enough you go somewhere you can play professional basketball and be thankful for an opportunity to improve not bitch and moan.

16 points and less than 3 assists per game isn't exactly an impressive statistic, less than 2 assists in the playoffs. He is barely 2nd on his team in assists and has 63 turnovers compared to his total 86 assists.

There are much better Pointguards than him in the german basketball league.

MVP of his team or not it doesn't matter he wasn't even an allstar in a weak european league.

lol! But, its not quite the same really - at least we have some idea what he might be like.

That being said, 16 ppg isn't bad (i figured when slin said he sucked that he was averaging like 10 or less...) so you never know - he might just be a perfect fit for a certain type of role (e.g shooter) with the suns.

That, i assume would be a big difference between Huffman playing in Europe and Huffman playing in the NBA. Over there he's probably required to do a whole bunch of stuff whereas if he can find his niche overe here then he could be quite servicable.

Trevor Huffman might not suck. :)
