The talent is there..................
I don't know the last time I heard someone in the national media say that with a straight face.
I have heard it from reputable third parties for the last two seasons -- other teams sportswriters, announcers, national types and the like --
they look at the team and wonder given the talent why the team didnt win more than it did

I am more surprised they used the correct Cardinals logo! Why wow? We finished 16th last season.

Prisco has been pimping the Cards for a long time. He went to ASU, I'm pretty sure he's a closet Cards fan.
We were 8-8 last year and one of the worst teams in the NFL the three years before that. What credit do we deserve?Wow because nobody else gives us any credit

Did you give your kids high-fives for getting "C"'s in school?? Why should the team be rewarded for finally becoming average?? Call me a hater, but I am not a big believer in celebrating mediocrity. The Cardinals deserve credit for changing the whole way they've done business in the last 3 or 4 years. They've gone from being a team who would let their good players go rather than pay them, would never renew a contract before it had expired, refused to offer any bells or whistles on a contract, etc., etc., to acting just like a real professional NFL team.

Right there with you. New coaches & they way they do contracts is great but until we see the success on the field call me cautious.
I'm excited about this season but the team will continue to be looked down upon by the media and other fans until they win more than they lose.

LOLLLLLLLLLYup because as the old saying goes.. Momma, dont let your babies grow to be cowboys.. So getting is C is better than being a cowboy..

I wasn't speaking as to whether or not Card's fans should be excited headed into the season, of course we should. I was just explaining why the national media isn't and shouldn't buy into the hype just yet.Yes I would and I'd encourage them to work harder and try for B's in the next quarter. The only reason anyone should ever look back is to make sure they don't repeat past mistakes. To dwell in the past will only insure that you will remain there. Stuck in the past. This is a new day and a new team. As of today, anything is possible. Let's send out some positive vibes for a change and watch this team feed off of them. No river is too wide and no mountain is too high.
This is SPARTA!!!!
