I thought there were some interesting things happening at some of the pro days. We get caught up in the combine sometimes and think those are the only players out there. Our own Tim Hightower wasn't even invited to the combine last year and he turned out to be pretty good.

I know we are looking for a center and I heard about a kid that wasn't at the combine and has really opened some eyes at his pro day.

The kid is Blake Schueter out of TCU. Blake is 6'2 3/8 and 290 lbs.

He put up some amazing numbers at his pro day. The most eye opening was his 40 time of 4.7 seconds. He also had a 35" vertical jump, 9'3" long jump, 4.28 SS, 7.42 three cone, and I believe he put up 28 reps in the bench.

I don't know what he looks like on tape but I'm sure that scouts will be going back to give him a second look off of his pro day numbers.

If we have other priorities earlier in the draft this could be worth a look on the second day. I'm sure there are other players that deserve a look too.

He seems a little on the small side. I thought that was the reason they want to upgrade Sendlein.

He is a little on the smallish side but he came to TCU at only 236 lbs. and has worked hard to put on good weight and from what I've read he has the frame to add more.

Some guys get it done with size others quickness. If this guy is running a 4.7 he has got to be quicker than almost everyone he will be facing. How high will he go? I don't know but hes sure worth taking a look at.
