Oh and PS - Apparently Michael is dating Brandy. She was at the finale, etc.

So he's not gay? Interesting...

I think there were only 3 gay guys on the show; Kayne, Robert, Malan (not counting Tim or Michael Kors.) Although Keith made quite a blip on the "gay-dar".

Amen. Someone should have told Laura that there are more than 3 colors she can choose from.

Black isn't a color it's the absence of color.

And yes I too got sucked into this show by my girlfriend.

Michael pulled a Rackers, dominant all season and then choked.

I will say this, at first I thought Laura was just being a ****** but I'm actually quite suspicious she was right about Jeffrey having outside help. She made a very valid point about his existing business giving him such access, he went over budget, and he couldn't produce all his receipts. Seems to me in a show like that with pretty clear rules that you'd follow them to the letter but he clearly didn't.

I still don't get fashion, I'm laughing at one outfit after another and my girlfriend says "it's fashion, real people don't wear this stuff you are looking for the wrong things." Huh? Why do it if real people won't wear it?

Uh, hello Russ. She also used brown, light brown, and a cheeto-colored belt. Three colors.

Sorry forgot to put a smiley there. They seemed to be saying to her all year we get it, black dress. That's why I said black is not a color.

But I gotta admit I strongly suspect she was right about Jeffrey, especially after reading that long rambling message by Keith where he says that Jeffrey had one of his "Banned books" overnight and used it in one of the competitions to make pants.

That show became one of my guilty pleasures I don't care at all about fashion, can't relate to the people at all, but for some reason I really like to see them interact.

I knew you were kidding. I watch the show for the same reason. How about those sickly models last night. Ugh, eat more than half a grape for lunch already.

Michael choked.

Laura was robbed.

Hell, Uli's designs were better than Jeffrey's!

End. Of. Story!

Laura got what she earned. In my opinion she should have not even made it to Olympus Fashion Week. The Producers kept her on just to make good TV. She could have been "Auf'ed" twice, and she should have!

Michael tried way to hard, and it showed. If Michael had stayed within his zone he would have won.

Jeffery won for the same reason that I believe he didn't cheat. He's used to making entire collections. This is already his business. It's what he does, and he's successful enough to make a middle-class LA living at it.

If anyone was robbed, it was Uli. She had the best collection in my opinion. Everyone kept saying that all of her outfits would sell.

I'm in the same boat as Russ as far as Project Runway being a guilty pleasure. I have no clue why I was so captivated by this show. Here is my two cents.

Michael was overrated. I didn't understand why the judges like him so much. He should have been thrown out for making that cotour dress. That was hideous. I thought he was clearly not as skilled as the other designers.

The finale:

Uli definitlely should have won. Hands down. Her collection was gorgeous.

Jeffery was the most creative, but had a few misses.

Laura's was elegant and detailed but it was all evening wear.

Michael's "Street Safari" collection looked more like Peggy Bundy's wardrobe. He shouldn't have been in the final four. Affirmative Action?

He had all sorts of access to people who could do it for him, but seriously, do you think anyone at that level NEEDS to cheat? No way. He had his assistants busying away on his personal line and I bet he spent allhis time on the shows line, which was awesome by the way.

Russ, designers make that weird **** like its art. Its for show. Like a pollock or a monet or whatever. In fact, I went to an exhibit earlier this year in NYC that was nothing but dresses.

My wife is in fashion by the way, soIve learned a lot from here and am now addicted to Project Runway. I ama chef and she now has an adventurous palate because of me, and she is now addicted to Top Chef. Both well done shows that showcase talent in their respective industries not a bunch of crap like Hells Kitchen or America's Next Top model.

If anyone was robbed, it was Uli. She had the best collection in my opinion. Everyone kept saying that all of her outfits would sell.

Uli put together a beautiful collection, but the middle series in her collection was a single riff, same color palate and really took away from her excellent useof prints.

Lots of people did say her collection would sell, but I remember my wife commenting during that part of the show that the only person whose opinion on what they would buy or what they thought would sell (ie: was actually in a position in the industry to have legitimately valid opinion on the subject) picked Jeffreys collection as the one that was the best.

I liked Michael as well, but Russ nailed it. He pulled a Rackers. He'll be heard from again, but he wasnt ready for that big a stage yet.

Not at all, Mulli. That little 21 year old gay arrogant turd is talented as hell, and backs up his bitchiness every week. The only other one is the same realm is the girl who's left. She has a real shot. Chris the fat gay guy has the talent but not the taste level, and Romi cant get off the draping.

Looking forward to the finals!

Agreed. Overall, more talent top to bottom in Season 4 then previous years.

And agreed on the assessment - Christian is a heck of a talent, and I don't even know fashion. And the remaining woman is also very good. Unless they choke, I think one of them takes it.
