I don't think the Cardinals are going to be in a hurry to sign another top-10 WR. That's what got them here in the first place--the reluctance to spend too much money on one position.

I would trade Boldin for Steve Smith in a heartbeat right now, not sure they would do it though!

Only if Smith has it written into his contract that he has to punch Rackers in the nose when he misses his first FG.

Steve Smith for Q and a 3rd? I doubt they'd go Smith for Q straight-up.

And then you'd have to start Warner just to see how many yards he could get with 2 burners (Smith and Breaston) and a human vacuum cleaner (Fitz).

Ditto on Chad Johnson.

Despite our belief that Q walks on water, I don't think he has the value that Smith or Johnson have. Maybe I'm wrong..........

why man? our DB's have such pretty faces!

If this is really true let him walk out and don't let the door; oh heck let it hit him in the ass (sorry for my language), but it is about time for "Q" to really show who the Heck he really is as he claims. No real team player ever pulls this stunt. Not when you are getting paid as much as he is. $4.5 million is a lot of money. If I was the QB I would run him over the middle and get him fully extended and hope he gets one heck of a hit laid on him. maybe he may wake-up next.

If this is true I will burn my Boldin Jersey, and run over my bobble head head doll.

They'd get a Pro Bowl caliber CB, who's got about 4 years before he reaches his prime (IMO) and a 3rd that could turn in to a second. I don't know if the Cards are going to do too much better than that. If Philly's sweetening the pot, perhaps they can throw Giles or Justice into the deal and turn the pick in to a flat 3rd.

Perhaps a straight swap for Suggs might be better?

The problem with Sheppard is he's in the last year of his deal and he's been giving the Eagles a headache about signing one. We'd just be trading one headache for another.

Sources? I call BS. No way in hell he walks out of camp. I also highly doubt he threatened to.

I'd take Crayton and a first.. yea, it's alot, but the dude is signed for three more yrs.. there is no need to sell low..

With the Eagles I'd take Sheppard and a 2nd.. or Reggie Brown and a first

I love Boldin but I would take Shawn Andrews of the Eagles and a case of beer for him if we have to trade him.

Agreed.

He's the kind of hothead where you can't really be sure what he'll do next when he's mad.

Personally I'm pretty sick of the drama. If he's going to walk out, I hope he does it soon so we can figure out how to move forward.

Agreed on both points.

We would not trade him the the Cowboys or the Eagles cause we play them both this year.

What is so great about Crayton anyways??

I understand Sheppard point of view. Boldin still has 3 Season left on his Contract. Boldin shouldn't shouldn't be crying like this. I say give Sheppard a new contract if he proves worthy of a new one. That why I say Sheppard & a 1st. The real value is in the 1st round draft pick.

I had him on my fantasy team last year and he scored a lot of points towards the end of the season for me.

If this is true, then screw Q.

:yeahthat:

This is getting ridiculous. Funny how just a while ago we were talking trash on Ocho Cinco and now the tables, it seems, have sadly turned.

Regardless if this is true or not, the fact remains that Q isn't going to just shut up and play. Perhaps it's time to trade him, get something for him and run with Fitz, Breaston and Doucet.

I'm really disappointed with all this crap.

it's going to be hard for them to get a first and a player like sheppard(or a good player). that's if the cards indeed want to trade him. the best thing for the cards is find someone who is desperate for a WR and maybe they will pay more.

crayton isn't great. he's just one of those guys who people forget about and hauls in 9 out of every 10 balls. unfortunately one of those drops came in the playoffs on a crucial third down......where he is usually automatic. it didn't help him that he stooped to the giants level by trash talking before the game. a lot of cowboy fans don't think highly of him at the moment. I think he's solid and fits well in dallas playing across owens/witten.

If we trade for Sheppard we sill have to pay him in which case we might as well have just given the cash to Q. Not to mention that if DRC turns into the stud #1 CB we all want him to we will have to get him paid and run into the same problem with 2 #1 CB's wanting #1 CB cash...the same problem we have at WR with Fitz and Q will just be transferred to CB

Deactivate 'Pew like the Bucs did with Meshawn. Then tell him if he keeps his act together and shuts up, we'll trade him after the season. Screw him. I hope he rots and his career dies a miserable death, doing this to my team.

Made sure to go by practice after work just to make sure Boldin was out there. He was. I only stayed half hour or so but it looked like Boldin hustled when he was in. He even gave one of the coaches a terrorist fist jab after a td catch. He looked kind of sulky too though. Boy that Steve Breaston sure looked good. That guy seemed like he was everywhere today. Least while I was there.

do they have a first round pick because if so it'll be pretty damn high and I'll take that! they're gonna suck out loud this year. It can be like 2003 all over again for Q. Put up a bunch of nice looking stats while making no impact on the worst offense in the league. Yahoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
