My .02
We're approaching the height of posturing on Boldins behalf.
There we be no greater leverage for him this season than now to ink a new deal or trade to a willing owner. In 3 weeks it'll be over for the season then he'll have to ride this this horse to next Feb.
Unfortunatey for him he is burning all of his bridges here and will have a tough time getting #1 or 2 money from this franchise.
The reality is that we as fans will have to endure more of this as the current staff develops players to a talent level we can no longer afford.

Q has several options
1 Status quo. Put the stick down and play for a new contract next year.
2 Sit down and wait. There by passing on this years salary and decreasing his value
3 negotiate a long term deal prior to the deadline in Oct?
4 Negotiate a one year deal to play out this season based upon incentives and then let him take his chances. This has negative implications long term for us but would put him on the field for the season.
All in all this speaks volumes about our program. When's the last ime we had too many good players on the roster to pay them all market value,98?
