Chase Young hasn’t been cleared yet but if he is then he will feast.

Why ya say that? Our starters make up a pretty decent line...assuming of course froholdt continues to perform
Who is our left guard?

A lotta hope for a line that’s…

Dj - good player
??? - likely not a good player
Frodo - looks good in limited preseason snaps
Hernandez - average player
Paris - highly drafted rookie

So yeah.... I get it. We bring in a guy...he wins the starting LG job.... but the team suxx ass so bad he has to be labled..." likely not a good player"
I see you.

Hey. No rose colored glasses over here... I'm just labeling the guy "average player"

So if frodo plays average...and PJJ just plays average...
With Hump being a "good player" .... that clearly makes the line as a unit,..."above average"

Interesting take. QBs no longer matter.
That's what you took away from what he said?

I think he means that Dobbs won't have a 50% completion percentage, and he won't throw 4 picks either. We won't lose due to bad QB play. We will lose in some other fashion.

I always think about Trent Dilfer when comparing great qb’s, average qb’s and bad qb’s.
Dilfer was about as mediocre as you could get. He manage the game and did what he needed to do not to lose. To do this he needed a good running game and a very good defense.

Now we have Dobbs. This offense I believe is capable of being a “ steady” offense. I think we will be committed to the running game, keep the clock moving and try to win TOP. I don’t see us throwing the ball 45 times.
However, it appears the defense might not be “ great”. In fact it appears it will be deplorable. If that’s the case we won’t be able to keep it close thus forcing us to open up the offense which will expose Dobbs for what he is.
