I see a lot of guys posting names of wr's they'd like to see us draft. Many of the names mentioned is followed by the comment," he'd be a great slot receiver."

Correct me if I'm wrong , but wasn't the slot given back to Q last year? If we are to add a wr via the draft wouldn't we be looking for a pure speedster that would lineup outside?

slan, you thread killer, you. Clearly nobody but me likes you. :p

And yes, we don't need a slot WR, in my opinion.

As has been stated many times. We have two of the best possession receivers in the NFL. We need someone who will demand a safety's help deep, or burn the CB deep. We need speed like nobody's business. This will allow Q to be Q and Fitz to be Fitz. The fast 3rd man would be icing on the 80 yard TD catch cake.

Jamaal Charles ran a 10.32 100 meters, no wind, to finish 2nd at the Big 12 meet last year.

We could use him as our speed receiver and change of pace RB.

:D

You do realize DJ, that if we indeed end up getting JC and he flops there will be a bounty on your head the size of Texas!! :)

Is this just a rookie thread? If not Muhamad just got dropped by Chicago. How much you think he still has left? I think he would be a great #3 WR....

He doesn't bring the needed speed that our WR corp lacks. The Bears may also lose Berrian. What a passing attack that will be,Kyle Orton to ???????. BJ may end up there.

No thanks. Moose had his day, but it's over. Even in his heyday, he was similar in play to Boldin. If we pick up another receiver, he needs to be a speed demon.
