Wide Receiver is a need, no doubt.

But, the Cardinals are going to need to look into the defensive line.

If Dexter Lawrence is there, why would they not pick him ? Guy looks to be a freak.

also a potential trade down depending on who is there and who wants to trade up. A whole night passes for teams to salivate on who slipped out of round 1.

I go offensive line. The Cardinals have added a few veterans who can play for a bit, but the team needs to add a few young, cheap prospects.

Bradbury, Lindstrom, Risner.

The problem though is that there is such a lack of depth at WR, that I think the team is going to be forced to take at least two.

I’m going TE before WR.

A good TE opens up the playbook big time. I wouldn’t even mind if we double dipped TE in this draft.

My top 5 for 33 in order:

Irv Smith
Chris Lindstrom
Charles Omenihu
Dalton Risner
Deebo Samuel

#33 should be a very solid pick.

I like Yodny Cajuste and Bobby Hart if they fall to the top of round 3, which would have me leaning toward an impact WR at #33 (or BPA).

Both of those OT's played in "air raid", so they definitely fit the scheme. Both can play LT...Hart can also easily play RT.

I like Lawrence a lot. He would be an excellent NT in their 3 - 4 defense. There are going to be some good players there when the Cards pick. I do also agree that the Cards could trade this pick for several more maybe even a first rounder next year. Good position to be in for the Cards,

Who is Bobby Hart?

I can’t bring myself at all to draft a run stopper in the first 3 rounds.

not a bad list. Not a big Irv Smith fan.Like Zach Allen DE,I think Omenihu can be gotten in rd 3-4.

I don't think Cards are drafting OL till the end of the draft. They did not sign two veteran guards, and trade for a veteran right tackle if they were planning on drafting an OL early.

Maybe they would draft a tackle if they thought the value was outstanding, but I am nearly positive the 2nd and 3rd rounders will be WR or DL.

It depends who is on the board - and if we have traded Rosen for a pick that has already netted us a WR but if we have then I think it might very well be wise to trade down at 33.

Stopping the run is a serious hole for us last year. No dominant D Linemen and no dominant ILB's is a big concern.
Adding Suggs will be situational help. Adding Hicks will be significant. But really, if Rodney Gunter is your most dominant D Lineman, add help.

I also don't see them trading down to 5 to take a Olineman after adding so many.

33 there is always someone random who falls, I could see them just going BPA, and getting someone nobody saw coming

I’ll be shocked if Nkeal Harry is at 33 the Cards pass on him! I won’t be shocked either if they trade into the back part of round 1 to nab him.

Zach Allen is just bleh to me.

No chance Omenihu falls to round 3 unless health concerns come up. There’s a chance he doesn’t even fall to 33.

Sure but you add run stopping DT/NTs from round 4 on. Not round 2, especially not early round 2.

If Cards are confident they can get a Daylon Mack,Dontarius Russell in later rds then go for another need or BPA.Problem is that there are not a lot of real run-stuffing DT-NT guys to pick from after the first bunch of DTs is off the board.

TE at 33...helps the oline while also helping our young QB.

if we move from 33 our best bet is to use it to trade back into the first round. that gets us a fifth year of control over whoever we draft. I wouldnt even be surprised to see us trade up just one spot...NE has been known to make that type of trade....of course, NE is looking for a TE so we might have to trade in front of them

Only a few of these TEs are real "old school ' type guys.many are "move" TEs or pass catchers mostly.
TJ Hockenson TE old school type worthy #33 pick but likely gone.
Kaden Smith , Isaac Nauta,Foster Moreau,Tommy Sweeney,Dawson Knox all decent Run blocking and P/p guys but none worthy of #33 pick.
Irv Smith rated as fast HBack/Move TE type with questionable hands and bulk.

Irv’s hands are not questionable...
