Will you still be here next year? WIll you still go to games, buy gear, and support this team thru thick and thin, or are you already off the board?

Nothing like a nice, positive thread when the team is in major flux(not just because of Warner) and many are feeling pretty low.

Instead of putting it on others though, why not just state whether you want to see Warner transplant fans gone?

I for one dont want to see them leave. I want them to stick around and help us as a fanbase continue to earn respect. If my question came off as spitefull I apologize, it was meant as a serious question. I really want to know if they stuck around because of Kurt or if they actually became fans of this organization.

Sorry bud but after putting up with their **** for five years I think it's a good question to ask. I hope they become life long cardinal fans and join the fight. But I don't think they should now be offended by the question it's a fair question if you ask me.

Well, that's why I came here(just in case there was one person left that didn't know).

I've never hidden the fact that I'm more player/individual focused than logo/color focused so I will be hanging around for guys like Whis, Fitz, Leinart, etc.

The Cardinals are going to have a tough year next year though. Not a losing year per se, but Leinart is a huge question mark and the challenge of playing in Warner's shadow in addition to being an inexperienced starter again is going to be a challenge for him.

I think Boldin and Dansby might be gone too and with so many key players not around, it will be a transition period which usually means tough times. They are in a weak division so they will still have a shot at the playoffs but in addition to everything else, I think Whis is going to modify the offense again and that may not be a good thing. We just don't know.

Nope, I didn't even know I did it until I read your post and saw it. So goes life you're never a true member of any board until the spelling police get you. I guess I'm home. By the way spelling police, whomever you may be I suck at it and on top of that I can't type to save my life. So it looks like I should keep you busy enjoy.

I didn't jump off the bandwagon when Charley Johnson went to Houston.

Now I'm too old to jump off.

Does it really matter? Fans like that are to few to matter anyways.

A. Williams was the one who got me to become a Cards fan. Hurt BAD when he went to the Lambs. But, here I am. There are too many other players (Whiz, Fitz, Beanie, TH, etc.) to jump ship now. Kurt will be greatly missed, but once you bleed Cardinal red, there is no cure!!!!!!

Good to hear

Been there done that.

Tough times ? To Cardinals fans that is EXTREMELY relative. We talking Jake Plummer tough times or Jeff Blake/Josh McCown tough times. :D

What also helps is this is the first time since their move to Az. that it feels like the Cardinals have a real coaching staff......

Well, I'm sure '99 hurt a lot worse after the success of '98 and it's going to sting even worse now to sink back down(if that happens).

It sucks when you're always bad but eventually you go numb and get used to hoping you'll win but accepting that it probably won't happen. But then to be the king of the division and NFC playoff contenders...the pill gets a lot harder to swallow.

Hopefully for the Cardinals, Whis is as good as I think he is.

I think the threads question is very valid. For those of us who have been life long followers of the Cards it has never been a question of jumping off the wagon, in fact, it made it easy to be a Cards fan because there were no expectations.

The question now is can the newbies take the smack and ridicule that is going to take place. Just look at San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis comment "
You'll be the same, old Cardinals again.

This franchise has tasted a little success in the past only to revert back to the losing ways of past Cardinals campaigns. This next couple of seasons is going to be the true test to see if we have truly turned the corner. So it is fair to ask all the fans that are here because of Warner, "Are you going to stay if times get hard?"
