I missed this one:

(1) Did we get any better play at the other CB (opposite Barrett)?

(2) Did McDaniel play any at CB?

(3) How did our DT's look with Ransom/Bell/Bryant?

Any other observations and/or comments will be appreciated....Blake and our rook receivers must have tore the place up!!!

Defense was classic "bend-but-don't-break". I wouldn't want to play that way all the time, but it worked today!

McDaniel was out there only in the nickel, I'm pretty sure.

DT's seemed to get pushed around a bit. Green seemed to have a lot of holes and when G.B. needed short yardage they usually got it.

I thought the corners (Hill & Barrett) played well.

Boldin was awesome again and Johnson and McAddley also played well.

I'm giddy now, so take it for what it is worth.

GREAT GAME!!!

How was our running game? I just woke up for work and I got all my information on this board so far. DAMN! I'm sorry I missed this. I nned the truth from this board before ESPN puts the story up and spins it as a packer off day.

I didn't hear Ransom's name either. Still no pressure but anybody else think maybe DJ had Favre in the grasp near the end?

No not really there was a play earlier in the game I thought Pace had him in the grasp but watching it again it wasn't that close.

Johnson could have had him if he just wrapped his arm up but couldn't quite get around fast enough to do that.

Well...Ransom's name was only called twice.

DJ and Pace were getting smoe pressure, and 3 "almost sacks".

Yeah that was an awesome hit. He was smiling after he cracked the guy too. Was he filling in for R. Hill?

Kinda interesting, Ransom was rotated in a few times at LE. That was a big line with him, Davis and Tanner all next to each other. Tanner had some absolutely crushing hits behind the line today. Great play by him.

Tanner came up big, it was his hit that caused GB's fumble. Also McDaniels hit was a game saver. I hate to rain on the parade but our tackling, especially on special teams remains poopy and GB got that long pass completeion toward the end of the game on a blown tackle. The pass itself was for about 6 yards with a missed tackle and 25 yard run.

I did too but I thought I was being a homer allthe Packer fans said I was.

Did you notice how often they rolled the pocket to the right in the 2nd half? I know Favre is a righty but was that because they were trying to roll away from Pace, who had some pressure but wasn't exactly hitting Favre on every pass? It seemed odd because at least twice Dennis made Favre change a throw because he's so tall and long, but they were intentionally rolling to DJ's side for some reason.

We do it with Blake but I assume that's to create throwing lanes for him, Favre is taller seemed to almost do the opposite.

Johnson is coming along nicely for a guy Sullivan insists should be the 4th WR right now!

We got the "homer" call of the day on the PI called on Johnson, so i can't be too upset with the non-sack call.

That was one scrabbled together d-line we had out there, and most of the time we got very little pressure on Favre. But, they competed and played their asses off. And, Johnson is clearly not the lost cause I thought he was just two weeks ago.

As for the CB's, they are inferior as NFL starters. It doesn't matter if it's Hill, Rhinehardt or McDaniel. Personally, I think Rhinehardt seems to play the best.

One more thing about the game.....Didn't Farve seem disinterested during the whole game? He didn't have that usual fire that you see out of him. I read some articles that said it, but today was the first time I actually got to see it in action. I am glad that Cards got the W, but I also think that Farve is done after this season. You can see it in his eyes.

What was funny is after that hit and the ball popped loose, Dex looked up at the Replay on the monitor, watched it, turned and laughed again. Nice view of that from section 38.
