I like surprises more than validationsI am hoping for a little better play from the Suns. But, not expecting a whole lot better.

The funny part is even the skeptics here are DYING to grasp on to any glimmer of success, yet are still attacked relentlessly by team Pollyana. Lucy pulls the football every time.*This office closed until further notice*
Made it further then I did lolHello Darkside my old friend...
Imagine meeting you again.....
I turned the game off with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Can't turn off the game when you are at the game. You just soak in yet another teams' fanbase celebrating in your stadium. Sigh.Hello Darkside my old friend...

You are a glutton for punishment my friend. You couldn't pay me to go to a game these days. Drive out to the Westside for hours to watch our team get pummeled with a stadium full of opposing team fans? Yeah, no thx. Can't turn off the game when you are at the game. I miss the SDS days, too.The game experience sucks ass compared to SDS. Even when it was so hot.
Yeah, I was a season ticket holder in the first season in the new stadium. Between the drive, a bad team, and feeling like I was in a war zone with all the fights inside and outside of the stadium, it was an easy choice to dump the tix right away.I passed on having season tickets last year for the first time since 1994. I went to three games. This year, I split the season with a friend who has tickets.
Yesterday, I realized that was dumb. The seats were 3/4 full and I was somehow surrounded by Washington fans. The game experience sucks ass compared to SDS. Even when it was so hot.
There was at least a camaraderie among the ticket holders at that time. And you actually felt like the team appreciated you. They had so many give aways. Small things, but it still meant something. I still have my VandenBosch jersey. I think there were three jerseys they gave you the choice of that year, KVB, Boston and someone else I am forgetting. Lassiter? Aeneas?I miss the SDS days, too.

Every game I have gone to this year has had different people in the section. There isn't even one person I have seen at two games. Used to be you knew who would be there and you shared the experience.
That is all long gone.
There was something oddly masochist yet comfortable about that hellhole. I say often I miss that old SDS heritage and lore.I miss the SDS days, too.
This guy ate them allHoly hell. I am a darksider. For those that know me, I've been a pragmatic optimist through all the 23 years I've had season tickets. Seen the best and worst. Never went dark.
I'm here now. Where them cookies I heard so much about??
only the salty dawgs survived the SDS experience.I miss the old SDS days too. Wins were hard to come by but, damn, they were fun.

They also came out of the north end of the stadium.Super random SDS question: The Cards used the north end college visiting locker rooms and not ASU’s locker room on the south side. Where did the visiting NFL team have their locker room?
They also came out of the north end of the stadium.
Yes, ASU did not let them use their locker room.I didn’t know there were two locker rooms on the north end. I thought it may have been an ASU thing where they didn’t want to Cards to use theirs out of spite.
Beware, in the Dark Side, those chips may not be chocolate in those cookies…This guy ate them all

I miss watching NFL football outside (post September). There’s something just kinda sterile about the Big Toaster, especially when we suck.I miss the old SDS days too. Wins were hard to come by but, damn, they were fun.
Exactly. My first thought walking into it for the first time ever was that it felt like a big warehouse rather than a football stadium. We were sold on it being a closed roof stadium only for early season hot weather games and that it would be open all other games. Seemed like most seasons we still played more road games early regardless of the fact we basically had a domed stadium for those games. Then it turned into "Warner likes it closed" or some other factors which have had the roof closed on beautiful days/nights. Meh.I miss watching NFL football outside (post September).
