#9 in my All-Time Top 10.

Have you posted your Top 10 recently? I'd love to see it.

I just absolutely love the feel of Raging Bull. The way it is shot is just fantastic. You can see the influence of a film like this on Spike Lee's films, specifically "She's Gotta Have It" which I recently watched too.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of bad things about it, including your review.

I am working my way through the majority of Scorcese, Spike Lee and PT Anderson's films little by little. So many great ones in there.

Next up is Taxi Driver.

Yup. Minutes before this movie I was telling someone how at least Spike's movies usually have something interesting in them, even if they aren't good.

Miracle was the exception to that.

Cool. I will add the others. I've at least heard of them.

Shocking that Modern Times is in your top 10, Chap. ;)

I know this opinion will make me even more unpopular, but I watched the film a number of years ago and while it was a fine movie I didn't feel it was an amazing movie and I was having trouble finding why it was so loved.

When I read this the first thing tat came to mind was this:

You must be registered for see images

the scene where he snorts an entire room of cocaine is one of the greatest in cinematic history.

Same here. It's solid, but I honestly didn't enjoy too much.

Just watched it finally.

What a completely underwhelming movie. Nowhere near worth the hype it gets. While a true story it certainly isnt very engrossing. The acting overall is good but the characters just aren't very likable. A solid C.
