Bumped into Raiders WR Chaz Schilens in the parking lot. Nice guy. UFA, Mesa Highland product visiting the Cardinals on 1st day of FA.

Schilens, 6-4, 225 pds, played in 15 games last season, started 5. 23 catches, two TDs. Played at San Diego State.

are the Cards trying to bring in the most injury prone guys out there? Maybe McNeil is next.

This would be a low risk, somewhat high reward type signing. Kid has great size and speed and the Raiders were extremely high on him a few years ago, but he couldn't stay healthy. If he could come cheap, I wouldn't mind it at all.

Shillens is a talented player. But like Cbus said, seems like he's always hurt.

Ton of interest in him for a guy who has been injury prone. Jets, 49ers, Cards

Jets have reached out to WR Chaz Schilens (Raiders). Obvious reason: New WR coach, Sanjay Lal, formerly of Raiders. #nyj

Nice. Big body receiver and has speed to boot.

Like the sound of him.

sounds like the same player IMO:bang:

WTF is wrong with the Cards Get a proven, more sure thing than this or Robinson

WR's over-value themselves and teams fall over themselves to give them #1 money. Not gonna happen here while Fitz is around and the good ones know it.

Depending on contract of course, seems like a low risk high reward type guy.

When Schillens has been on the field he's looked like a stud. Problem is the guy is always hurt. Seems every training camp I'd read a "this is the year Chaz stays healthy article" and then he'd get dinged before the first game.

Maybe this guy could be the anti-Kyle Vanden Bosch? Kyle seemingly couldn't stay off the trainers table here, moved to the Titans and his injuries were a thing of the past.

This guy would be a great signing (say it with me) if he can stay healthy.

I would greatly prefer Robinson to Schillens. I feel like Schillens will be a repeat of Chansi Stuckey.

This.

Not to mention, six four with blazing speed will keep the defenses off the line....opening up underneath and over the middle.... Schillens could make a great #2.......the burner the fans wanted, combines with the size the team prefers...

Doucet, Roberts snd Stucky are basically the same slot receiver. One will be gone, probably Doucet. Schillens or Robertson provides the outside threat.
