That place will be rocking for a home playoff game.

Do we want to play at home though? I can't believe I'm typing that, but I have to wonder what in the hell is going on with this team at SFS.

Is it just a weird confluence of events that we have like a billion turnovers at home, and two on the rode?

There has to be some regression to the mean on the turnovers. I absolutely want to play at home and attend a home playoff game (potentially).
Only thing I heard from the crowd tonight were cooper kupp chants.
This was ENTIRELY predictable and I definitely predicted it. I’m sure many Phoenicians really enjoy Cooper Kupp because of his grit and because he’s a student of the game.

At home:

- Barely escaped a sub-par Minnesota team only cause the kicker missed a chip-shot.
- Barely beat a 49er team where a really raw rookie made his 1st NFL start. Also missing George Kittle.
- Struggle hard for a little bit over a half against a horrific Houston team.
- Lose against an extremely short handed Green-Bay team.
- Get clobbered against a Carolina team who pretty much has NO offense.
- Lose against a really under-handed LA team.

On the road:

- Clobbered a fully healthy Tennessee team.
- Clobbered a fully healthy LA team.
- Clobbered a Cleveland team that has a great defense & arguable DPOY.
- Clobbered a healthy 49er team with a backup QB & non-WR1.
- Pretty much dominated a divisional rival in Seattle with Russell Wilson. Backup QB & non-WR1 again.
———All wins by 10+ points———

“Let’s hope for homefield advantage” lol okay. Sure.

Watch we lose to Indy at home in another primetime game, but dominate Dallas on the road.

Much more comfortable going to Lambeau or Tampa Bay than wanting those teams to come here.
Thing is we'd need to lose two more games to get the 5th seed. And thats assuming the Rams wins out.

So we're likely at least one home game anyway. Bottom line is they need to figure it out. I feel like this was more about Kyler than the Green Bay game. However, there's an awfully lot of faith in just assuming road dominance. They better beat the Lions by 30. Cause that Bears game seemed more like Andy Dalton spotting us touchdowns.

You know what’s funny & probably true? Andy Dalton probably would’ve scored more touchdowns in State Farm Stadium than Soldier Field. It’s also faith to assume this team will turn it on at home when they have yet to do. Two against teams that were VERY short-handed. VERY!

All the big sports boards are clowning Murray for not spiking the ball when the entire rest of the offense thought that he was. This was his version of AJ Green not turning around.

In our first game vs. the Rams Stafford constantly was missing a wide open Cooper Kupp. Tonight he didn't miss.
I shut the game off late. Was that after the Kirk play/where the Rams called the timeout?

One other reason I mentioned earlier about hating Ramsey being out. Just like with Adams it sets up a "They were shorthanded and still beat us" narrative all year. Next team we play at home who has a surprsing covid issue might as well bet the house on them.

And you're probably not wrong about Andy Dalton.

Field doesnt look great, stadium doesnt always seem loud *for the Cardinals* and we start slow just about every game.

Still something has to change. Unless you're we're the Bucs of last year we need to figure out how to at least play really well at home.

Sidenote: @splitsecond you're right as well. Stop opening the roof for primetime games.

Rams made their case for being the best team in the NFC West tonight.

We lost the line of scrimmage in a big big way. A scary way. Our line had no hope against the Ram front seven.
This is where Ramsey being out sucks. Cause I could argue Kyler left about 11 points on the field. The Hopkins drop, etc etc

We really should have scored 40 on these guys. And yet we didnt with their backup corners. Just tough.

Nobody ran a route on a hail mary. This is a horribly coached team

They thought he was going to spike it.

Kyler was asked that and he said miscommunication between me and the OL and I don't really recall what was said in the helmet in the heat of the moment. The WR's didnt' run either everyone thought he was going to spike it, he should have. Brain fart, happens he'll learn.

Basically we got a field goal and then Zaven Collins recovered an onside kick. Drive after is a disaster, especially after a holding call negates a 23 yard run. Clock is running, 7 seconds left. Instead of spiking and going for a Hail Mary, Murray snaps the ball and runs 20 yards backwards for a sack to end the game. It didn't look like anyone else on offense was even playing so most guess they thought Murray was going to spike it.

Can we explore trading Hopkins this off season? We're paying him all-pro money and getting nowhere near all-pro production this year. He doesn't seem to be used that well in Kliff's spread the ball to everybody offense.

Because we spread the ball around. 8 TD's in 10 games we're not as dangerous without him

and with all that if Kyler makes some good throws and Kliff isn't stupid we still could have won
