I know that the OL is banged up and playing with four starters, who were not considered starters at the beginning of the season. And, it seems that we do a lot of subbing. My question, is there a reason for the substitutions as the game goes on? Is it based on:
*Performance
*One guy is good in pass pro and another in run blocking
*Getting dinged
*One guy is on a pitch count

Or are they following a Game Plan?

Gotta ask coach bro. It worked today though.

Simmons great coverage
His long body & athleticism paid dividends on that play. Our heads better not swell because the Rams QB was as bad as an NFL QB can be. Real test is next week. We need some injured bodies back. Curious how Jones at LT graded out. Seems like we could run to his side & he appeared to pass block well. Rams have lost 5 games by double digits this year & now Kupp will miss some time. Has a SB Champ ever drafted in the top 10 the following season?

The bolded is kind of the overlooked story line from yesterday.

Gotta love the parity the NFL has created when the superbowl champs can just fall of the face of the planet the very next season.

They won't draft top 10 next year as they don't have a top 10 pick.

Detroit are very happy though.

they wont -- as the Rams 1st round pick belongs to Detroit next year

they also a quite low on cap space -- OTC puts them at -$5mm in effective 2023 space

as we have seen, that figure can be manipulated by moving $ onto future caps -- but Stafford isnt getting any younger, Allen Robinson doesnt seem to be the answer they thought (at $18mm per)

they got a SB ring out the deal, but the future options to improve are constrained.
