Sounds logical. They have Bradford, a #1 overall pick and a better QB than Griffin. Redskins ( 6th pick) want Griffin. Dolphins(8th pick) want Griffin. Cleveland (4th pick ) wants Griffin. Even Rod Graves couldn't blow this one if he ran the Rams, where there is an opening waiting for you Rod.

The Rams stumbled into this one. Stepped in poo and came up diamonds.

Just for the record, Griffin is 4 inches taller than, 20 pound heavier than, faster than, throws better than, smarter than ........

Michael Vick.

I would not be surprised to see Griffin go ahead of Luck. There are a lot of potentially good QBs coming out this year. I doubt the Arkansas junior QB Taylor Wilson will come out but if he was there in round three I would be all over him. 6'4" 230 lb, tough as granite, mobile and a record setter in the SEC. Watch him in the Cotton Bowl this Friday.

Rams are taking Kalil or Blackmon.

Either way, playing them just got that much tougher.

Rams would be fools to pass on Blackmon or Kalil at #2. Those are their #1a and #1b needs, and both will be pro bowl caliber players.

We don't even know who their GM, HC or strategic philosophies will be; let alone what they might do in the Draft.

The Rams have money invested in the RT and LT position in two recent draft picks. Maybe they're willing to give up on Smith (Baylor) after three years (and two concussions), but Saffold was pretty good before he got hurt. I'd guess they'll take Blackman if they're forced to exercise the pick.

The Vikings will almost definitely take Kalil or Blackman if the Rams take one of the above them.

The Browns are in the catbird's seat for trading, since they have 2 #1s and a #2. The Bucs must be praying that RGIII gets picked and Landry Jones comes out and gets picked ahead of them, because they could use WR and maybe OT help.

The Rams trading that pick depends on how Alshon Jeffrey looks in offseason workouts. I don't think that they will risk not getting either Blackmon or Jeffrey.

Did you see the fight he got into and consequent ejection in the Nebraska game, Capital One Bowl ?

Jeffery got involved in a scrap with Nebraska's Alfonzo Dennard late in the third period. Both players were ejected even though it appeared Dennard was the only one that threw punches in the exchange.

Jeffrey still was the games MVP. He looked like a man amongst boys.

IMHO, there are 3 1st round WR picks Floyd included. Kemdall Wright could sneak in at the end. If Rams trade down, but stay in the top ten they are guaranteed at least one of them. Whatever else they pick up in that deal is a bonus.

Floyd does nothing for me as he really seems to lack the ability to get seperation. I would prefer both Wright and Sanu over him.

As far as Jeffrey, the only question w/ him is his ability to seperate in the NFL and not be the next coming of Mike Williams. If he shows burst in offseason workouts, I think that he is a lock as a top 10 pick.

Tall receivers are the flavor of the day now and both Floyd and Jeffrey are that. Michael Floyd hasn't had a QB of any ability since Clausen. Jeffrey's whole senior year was without a QB of any substance. Garcia got tossed and Shaw was learning on the run.

Light a 2nd rounder this year.
Trading back is the only option, and not one libel to get good suitors for a worthwhile price.
Team will be settling where they're at.

Not to slight on RG III because he is a tremendous athlete, but there is no way he is 4 inches taller OR faster than Vick. Griffin looks no taller than 6'1 and he might be a bit shorter than that and Vick ran a 4.3-40, Griffin is fast, but he aint that fast.

Big 10, and he didn't run the spread in college
I am pretty sure I posted that already. :)

And it may not technically have been the spread, Purdue did go four wide quite a bit if I recall correctly.
