They actually played together briefly in Philly a couple years back. I would think they get paired together in practice a good amount also. Canaan would be a solid backup PG, IMO, and Holmes is a decent backup Center. We shouldn't have to rely on either to spell the starters for 15 minutes a night though.

That’s right I read about that back when he was brought over.

And yes I’m sure they pair up and go against the starters. But in game and reading another’s team defense is another thing. They weren’t sure where and when the screen would occur.

It seems like I heard Booker had a splint on the other pinkie (not the injured one) to get it to grow straight. Did anyone else hear this?

Encouraging half ending with a slight Sun's lead.. better defensive effort all around. Effort, imo, it's all about effort. Keep it close Phx! Even if the Suns lose, I just want to see effort and competitive play on the defensive side. Go Suns! Bring home this season's second win.

Definitely a diehard Suns fan comment here...

Yeah, but you know he's probably right. Right? Anyway, I really doubt we'll win the game but it's nice to see a competitive half from us when the game is still in range. And if Booker gets hot, maybe we can make the Raptors pay for not being quite as focused as they usually are.

I hate to get too excited as others always do on this board, the suns tend make it go from hard to soft.
If we lose by 20, we are a crappy team, if we play well it’s because the opponent is “playing down”. There is no way the team is going to satisfy fans that use that logic. And it really is a normal fan response on this board, that’s why I’m incredulous about your accusation the board is overly excited. If anything it’s the opposite here.

It’s one game. I won’t be satisfied until winning is a proven commodity with this team again.

So unless the put together a significant win streak, you won’t give the team credit for playing well?

What's Ayton's career hugh in rebounding? I feel he's got a shot to break it tonight whatever it is!
14 against GS!

Yes as reported by the beautiful Lindsey Smith.

This helps explain some of Booker's issues with handling the ball (not just tonight) if he has problems with both pinkies.

Yeah my first assumption is that it is reverse psychology because that tends to work when posting on this board. However its easy to see the difference when you look at the X's and O's of the game being played.

The one thing i do not understand right now though is how this team seems to be schizophrenic right now. Im just saying

Here they come. Booker misses a tech ft.

Seems like the raptors game plan is staying home on everyone and letting Canaan beat them
