Would you guys take Luka over Ayton + Bridges?

Right now, Ayton and Bridges fit the team. Before this season, i would have swapped Luka for those two if possible.

I prefer Ayton and Bridges to Luka now and going forward. Last year Luka was a no-brainer over both of them combined.
Yeah it is a tough call. Luka certainly moves the needle more individually than either one of them, but does he more than both of them?

On offense probably, but they are both very good defenders so it is very hard to say that I would take him over both.

Of course we could technically have both Mikal and Luka.

Bomani was talking about Luka and Trae Young and made some good points. Right now there feel good stories and they do flashy moves that make people say wow but nothing is expected of them yet. Once expectations come the microscope will come out and both guys got serious flaws

Sarcasm has been defined as "a coward's way of insulting".

Do you not respect that watching the reporting of an attack
on the Capitol is more important than a Suns game?

Mocking that is shallow, man! It's, yeah, Absolute zero

I think you completely misunderstood his comment, or at least the intent of his comment.

@BC867

I think you missed the intent of the comment as well.

Actually I followed the event most of the day and watched the game as well.

It was nice when Suns and Raptors players came together in a circle at mid-court.

At the university I attended, a pun was considered the highest form of humor.

I've never heard sarcasm receive that accolade.

Sarcasm is more of a "What's the matter, can't you take a joke?" insult.

I guess you and I have different opinions about it.

Sarcasm can be used in a multitude of ways. The way he was using it was not making fun of you or your decision to watch current events over basketball.

If anything he was making fun of the idea that watching the Suns takes precedence over important current events.

Defense is so under-appreciated. Both Mikal and DA are defensive gems. Luka is a superstar offensive player, but he does not really compete well on both ends of the floor. Trying not to be a homer here. I am trying to consider if I was the Mavs, would I do that trade?

I wouldn't do that trade if I were the Mavs or Suns. Both teams are built around those players and swapping them would require more roster moves to be a contender. However if I were starting an expansion team and had to choose, I would take Luka over Ayton and Mikal but it would be close. I just think it would be easier to build a playoff team around Luka while neither Ayton or Bridges has shown the ability to be the guy on a team and I'd still need to find someone for that role.
