They can always get Early Doucet to replace him.

Erik Kuselias Sr. @eknbc

Anquan Boldin just told me he will RETIRE if he is cut by the Ravens. They will be his last team. #NFL #Profootballtalk
Also, on Boldin's production, wasn't there a significant difference between when Cameron was calling plays and when the other guy took over?

I thought it was established that Cameron wasn't really featuring Boldin within the offense.

Edit: Caldwell. Couldn't think of his name.

Yes the production level went up once Cameron was fired.

hope they resatructure and he keeps playing. I dont blame him tho, 2 sbs, one win and a reconstructed face, retiring early may be best.

Does not hurt me Bob, I'm a Cardinal fan before I will ever get down trodden over a player who left and wanted to leave. I appreciate Boldin immensely when he was a Card but could care less what uniform he chooses to retire now in.

We may see, whether Q's usual emotional outburst is matched with reality.

I dont think there is anything emotional about it. Its been known and talked about for quite some time that 7.7 million dollar cap figure he could be cut. This isn't some spur of the moment thing. Im sure he has been thinking about just that possibility for awhile now.

I don't see any way BAL management lets him go after that playoff/Superbowl run. He was amazing, nothing short of...

Agree. He will get restructured or extended.

Agree.

If I were a Ravens fan and they made Flacco the highest paid player in the league and had to cut Boldin, I'd be pissed.

I agree if it was just Flacco. But the team also has Ellerbee as a FA, Kruger, Ed Reed, Jacobey Jones has an inflated cap # too and a few others IIRC..

Whats getting old is everyone here sour grapes-in a dude who left his guts on the field for our team, regardless of how it ended. Can we please move on?
