ouchies original post talked about and compared the other players involved in the two trade deals. Not Barkley and Amare themselves and how they compared to each other.

For example If I say Schwarzenegger and Stallone were two similar big name action movie guys in the 80's.

You say "That is ridiculous, they weren't like each other at all. One went into politics and had a stable marriage and the other isn't in politics got married/divorced and dated supermodels a lot."

I say I was talking about their movies, but if you don't understand that we can just drop it.

Then you say "Why did you attack me?"

I think it's funny.

(Funny how like I amuse you? I make you laugh. How am I funny?)

This analogy is ludicrous.
And now I'm ready to find the high road and continue my journey.

Randolph is onl 20 and has "sky- is- the -limit" potential and should not be included in any deal for Amare, especially when the Suns are not in a position of power. Why should Dubs give up their future for a possible 1 year rental with injury concerns?

The Suns will not get a better deal than GS IMO because of his contract situation.

then they simply shouldn't trade him. you don't do a trade just to trade. you're not going to get proper value, don't give him up. if you're GS, you don't want to give proper value, you don't get the superstar you lack. GS's choice.

Exactly. Just because you get a crap trade and it's the only one doesn't mean you take that deal now. So much can happen between now and the trading deadline. If Amare plays out of his mind, his value can do nothing but increase. Worst case scenario you make a trade come the trade deadline if you are set on trading him. Don't take a crap deal now. That won't help anybody but the team making the crap trade.

If you trade Amare for crap are you really helping your team? For those that say, get what you can for him now....I say, those same crap offers will still be on the table come the trade deadline.

UPDATE: Amare to Warriors back on?

Amare Stoudemire | Suns
Sources have told Ric Bucher that the much-discussed trade between the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns for Amare Soudemire may be heating up once again. As tweeted by Bucher: "Sources are mixed on if Amare-to-GS still happens. My hunch is yes because Nelly wants him and Phx wants to move on." Earlier reports from the San Jose Mercury News Tuesday that Stoudemire had now interest in joining the Warriors or signing an extension with the team.

This trade is becoming the joke of the NBA. There is no way this trade is back on if Amare says he won't sign an extension. The only way I can see this happening at all is if GS is not giving up a thing for Amare. Then it's a no risk trade for GS. However, then this goes back to the Suns front office being stupid enough to make this trade without Curry or Randolph.

It's time for the Suns just to say give us Curry or Randolph or the trade is off. Enough of this it's off...it's...on crap.

That's why I stated that it's probably back on the Suns making a smart trade. You cannot make a bad trade regardless of what Amare says. This GS trade without Curry or Randolph is plain bad.

Not reporting this as fact.. but, Kohee- who is a poster on RealGM.com Warriors board...said he had heard from a couple of his sources that Amare was on a flight to San Francisco this afternoon...

could be crap, but with what Bucher is reporting, and both sides starting to talk again, I wouldn't be surprised if they invited Aamre to SanFran to show him around and gage him in person...

no, actually it looks as though every warriors poster over there says hes never been right and pretty much makes up any sources he says he has.

According to Marcus Thompson Blog. http://www.ibabuzz.com/warriors/

UPDATE: I forgot to add the Amare trade is still possible. A team source said the reports of the deal overstated how close the sides were, meaning no deal was ever official, meaning the Warriors never reneged on sending the No. 7. But I am told the deal is still possible. Yes, Curry is still off the table.

My guess is it will happen, if at all, towards the end of this month, maybe even August. Phoenix will realize this is the best offer they can get.
