Old story. Sherman is just much betterSherman stays on one side of the field while PP often plays the teams best WR all over place. Big difference. Sherman would often get beaten by the teams other best WR if he had to cover him all day as well.
Also, if you give credence to NFL players, PP was rated the 19th best player in the league. There aren't too many slouches on that list. I doubt he accumulated that status just by being a good guy. He's a very talented player.
I rarely see Sherman beaten by opponents best receiver Even if he doesnt face them 100% of the time
But i see often normal receiver becoming All Pro against peterson
He has great tools from athletic standpoint but he is not so Smart to be a top 5 cb. He struggle to Read the play fast , giving too much field to his receiver.
