And concealing weaknesses is a bad thing?
You know, you both are right.
Jake does have weaknesses, and Shanahan does a great job of hiding or compensating for them utilizing the rest of his offensive arsenal.
But that doesn't mean that, had Jake remained a Cardinal, those weaknesses could have been "worked around" here, given the talent-level of his supporting cast. (For one thing, Denvers' receivers are more experienced).
The point being that the move seems to have been right for Jake, right for the Broncos and, in the end, right for the Cardinals.
