I love this show.
There are very few shows that can actually make me laugh out loud, this is one.

I am REALLY enjoying this season.. its the first time they have actally came out about 9/11, and I think they have had more powerful moments this season then in any previous IMO...

The only show on TV I like better is Dexter. And it's close.

So the Season Finale was last week, I just watched it tonight, overall, I thought the season had some of the BEST moments the show has ever had, and at times some of the most boring moments it has ever had...

BUT, the season finale ended on a WTF, jump-out-of-your-seat SHOCKING devolpment it was crazy...

Honestly didn't see it coming, and have NO IDEA, what will happend... FX has ordered 19 final episodes to end the series, filming beginning later this month...

Did anyone else catch the Season Finale??

The show was amazingly good this season. Much more lighthearted than earlier seasons, which was nice for a change. I've never laughed so hard before at some of their scenes...like what's his face who tanned his "thing"...rotfl!

Finale was awesome...I loved what he did to Sheila...and then the big ending...holy crap!

That tanned episode was probabaly my favorite moment of the season, my 1A moment was the stare down, which produced the GREATEST LINE OF THE SERIES

Janet- "YOU spelled it wrong"

Garriety- "hey is that a new phone, (grabs it), hey whats a Cunf?"

I laughed out loud for about 10 minutes, just classic

I started watching Season 1 of this show about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I'm about halfway through the first volume of Season 5. Absolutely LOVE this show, except that just about every female character is either a complete bitch (Janet) or a raging psychopath (Sheila).

I honestly don't understand why Tommy still puts up with Janet.

But last season (think that's season 5) was flippin' fantastic...a lot lighter and funnier than the ones before, it was awesome.

I'm loving a lot of the subplots and how they are so great at bringing 9/11 into the show.

The new bar stuff is classic--I'd go to a bar that was painted completely black. LOL

A lot of people don't like it after Season 3, but I still did. It was a little repetitive, but worth sticking with.

Wow. It seems to just get better ans better. The writing and acting are just fantastic. I'll stick it out. What season are they up to?

Just finished sason 2. Pretty heartbreaking end of the season!

I'm 3 episodes into season 4. Still absolutely loving it! I cannot believe that the Cheif(Jerry) just shot himself. That sucks. I loved his character!

Just finished season 6. This show is probably one of the best written shows of all time IMO. The acting is solid across the board. There is so much subtle comedy throughout its crazy.

That whole scene where they use Tommy's nephew now a quadriplegic to pick up chicks in the bar was down right stomach hurting funny! Cant wait for season 7 and see how they wrap things up.

Feel bad for Lou as well. Just can't give it up even with a heart functioning at 50%. Now thats love for the job!

This show went down the tubes 2 seasons ago. It was great because all the male soap opera stuff was edgy and funny. Then it simply went goofy stupid, and became as bad as a woman's soap opera. It should have been re-named As Dennis Leary Turns.

Fantastic episode!
I was laughing out loud for the majority of the episode until the end.
I'm looking forward to the series finale next week.

I know a lot of people gave up on this show.

But!

A great series finale.

It choked me up, it made me laugh, it made me yell out loud "you bastards" once.

Good TV.

Not to mention the Pogues, Dirty Old Town as the closing song was a nice touch.

I was disappointed in the finale. I just thought they made it to light hearted about Lou dying. My wife was actually crying the whole episode over Lou and I just feel like it was a little to cheesy.
