I'm good at looking past those types of things to some degree. I have to, I watch SyFy movies all the time!!!
Exactly! I agree 100%. As long as it's not completely over the top I can look past most things.

We would all die because we require a electric charge to pump our blood and move our muscles...
Combustion engines require an electrical spark plug. There is nothing electrical when you fire a bullet. So I'm not sure what you are getting at. The whole concept of the show is that anything that requires any kind of electricty won't work. Hence why they were using steam engines to move equipment as opposed to a combustion engine.
By the way the show is fiction as in it isn't real. Once you accept that the show becomes much more enjoyable.
I have/had a problem with what you're talking about but the one consitancy is all batteries stop working. There is something that no one gets about the amulets(viewers included). Maybe batteries still work but somehow the amulets block the transfer of energy... Different strokes though...Batteries don't need electricity, and work on simple chemical reaction. Batteries don't work, but gunpowder does. Just one of the many, many contradictions that made the show epically bad--and made me stop watching.
Willing suspension of disbelief is awesome. I use it all the time in most of what I read and watch. Willing suspension of disbelief does NOT, however, excuse laziness in writing and gaping plot holes.

It's not that the batteries don't work, it's that the electricity required to exchange the power is blocked.
At least, that's what I'm going with going forward.
I would never watch this show, but this thread rules. Don't batteries create the electricity with the chemical process like steam engines would?Right...so the payoff is either 'it's magic', or it's a major, idiotic plot hole. And I'd hate a 'ta da! it's magic!' explanation.
You don't need electricity to 'exchange the power'; batteries use a simple chemical process to create power.
Potatos still work in the show...You must be registered for see images attach

There will be a 2nd season of revolution.
I thought we were in the middle of the second season. Do you mean 3rd season?
I don't know if this is the stupidest show on television or the best. I generally flip-flop two or three times per episode. There are more plot holes than it would take to fill Albert Hall yet the show is very entertaining nonetheless. Is anyone else watching this hot mess?

2nd season starts this fall according to Wikipedia

I just assumed that the first 10 episodes were season one and the second 10 were season 2 since there was a 4 month gap in between the two. But I guess they were all part of season 1.
When NBC ordered a full season, it was assumed that there would be a total of 22 episodes. This isn't the case, however, because NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt says that there were only 20 episodes ordered in total. In order for the show to be a total success, "Revolution" was going to have to start at least a couple weeks later.
Anyone watching this season. I am loving season two and where it is going.
