Nkemdiche was a late first round pick, pick 29 to be exact

Go look at the history of the 29th pick and see how many pan out. Here's a hint not many. It was a boom or bust swing for the fences pick.

Cards have had way bigger bust. Levi brown was decent at best buy when you consider we passed on Adrian Peterson he shoots to the top of the list

Leonard Davis was the #2 pick in the draft. He was a horrible LT left AZ went to the Cowboys then made like 4 pro bowls in a row smh

Jonathan Cooper may actually be our worst pick of all time considering where he was drafted

Robert Nkemdiche has proven Arizona Cardinals can't rely on him
Kent Somers

Nkemdiche hasn’t been in trouble off the field since joining the Cardinals, but he hasn’t been reliable, either.

Last month, he and quarterback Josh Rosen were scheduled to appear at South Mountain High School to promote a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education program.

Rosen showed up as promised and spent extra time posing for pictures with kids.

Nkemdiche never showed up. Team officials couldn't reach him.

Nice.

You actually have to look who was drafted behind him to get a good feel. 2013 was a pretty weak draft. Xavier Rhodes and Deondre Hopkins were the best players taken in the first round and they went 25 and 26.

It is frustrating as hell. He was quite good there in a few games. yes he freelances and at times it was a problem but he was in the backfield regularly and disrupting plays. But he just doesn't actually play enough, he has to be able to play week after week, and just hasn't been able to.

That is the problem with being a really bad team, there are guys, and he appears to be one, that just shut it down because the team sucks and they don't feel obligated to play hard for a bad team.

I would keep him next year on the hope the team drafts well, does well in FA, and the proverbial light comes on for Nkemdiche and he shows up consistently. If he doesn't, next year would be it for me.

Russ don’t be lured in by Bustdiche’s 2 plays every 4-5 games. He’s done this for 6 years now, this it’s a trend & who he is.

Time to move on & not get fooled by his “supposed” athletic ability & skills.

Just my 2 cents

While it's just speculation, my money would be on what he was likely doing the night before. A type of an establishment that closes at 2 AM. ;)

Kids! None of you are old enough to remember Kelly Stouffer.
Oh I am Jeff.

1)First of all it was a terrible pick by Big Red because he wasn’t even 1st round worthy coming out of CSU.

2) should’ve never been on the Cards board given they had Lomax despite a couple of subpar seasons. Just plain dumb

3) yes we’ve drafted Steve Pisarkiwiez & Steve Little in round 1 as well whom had zero business being picked there.

4) bottom line if a guy doesn’t produce in college & he played, he likely won’t produce at a high level in the NFL either. That’s my problem with the Bustdiche pick! I’ve been very critical of him since before the draft!

I honestly think he would have been great for this team, if he never broke his leg.
I will always wonder about both what Cooper and Ryan Williams would have done without their leg injuries in their rookie preseasons. Both guys were getting tons of hype and were never the same after.

I'm ready to move on from this bum, lucky for us there are like 4-5 elite DL in this draft, he will be long forgotten, another Keim time bust.

He has been dominant so far today. 2.5 sacks and and tackled Gordon for a 2 yard loss
He’s still just another guy imo.

He produces in sporadic spots in about 1 out of 5 games, just like he did in college.

It will be a major mistake if Big Red extends him!

His agent explained to him that he is playing for a contract so he decided to suit up this week
