Anyone disagree?

If Robin can give us 13/9/2 in a series or even just 12/8/2 or 10/10/2 something like that, consistently good play.

If Robin can do that I like our chances against anyone in the playoffs, except probably Cleveland.

Anyone notice that Cleveland is playing much better with Shaq on the Shelf? Coincidence?, I don't think so.

Robin is going to have to produce at 13+/10+ AND the continued play of Amare with the recently improved JRich... if those things fall in line, then I like our chances with anyone, especially since Bynum is down for a couple of weeks.

The fact remains; if the Suns want to make a long run in the playoffs, they must all play well. Unfortunately, some of the West can make "Championship" runs if they all play well.

Not sure if they are better without Shaq, since they had a good record even when Shaq was playing. They probably wont miss him much when they play teams not named Magic. Which is why they got him, without Shaq they stand no chance against the Magic come playoff.

You should change the title of this thread to "Robin Lopez is The Key to Our Playoffs, IF he is healthy."

For all of Shaq's talk that he was gonna make Amare a better player, look who actually made that happen. :p

I heard that his brother had the same problem while at Stanford and had surgery, which makes me think Robin is headed for that same solution.

In a disappointing loss to the Thunder with a few more games left in the regular season, the Suns reverted back to small-ball.

Our newly acquired, experienced backup Center stayed on the bench.

I counted seven consecutive misplays by Channing Frye on offense and defense.

And Amar'e wound up playing Center. Which weakened us at both power positions.

And we lost the game. And (perhaps not temporarily) home court advantage in the first series.

Did someone slip Alvin Gentry one of D'Antoni's Stupid pills?

We need Rolo to go deep, Amare gets hounded inside now and there is no one else who will clean the glass like Rolo on our team, even on Amare's misses Rolo is a presence and teams won't leave him to guard Amare. Channing Frye standing out at the 3 point line won't help.

The problem is that it's only recently that we made concerted effort to go through Amare and he dominated. But he lacks experience in this role and it takes some games to learn how to play out of all versions of double and triple teaming. And other players also need to adjust. Nash himself needs to work on his catch and shoot which he never needed before. (He missed the wide open 3pt on Amare's pass out of tripple teaming with 3min left in the OKC loss, which would have evened the score at 90:90.) We can only hope that Amare, and the whole team, learn fast enough there.

Are you saying you've never seen a team up play an injury?
