I think it's $16.99 instead of $19.99
Complete steal at $16.99

When we first introduced the casual Rocket Labs playlist earlier this year, we promised additional arenas that would be introduced over time for inclusion in the rotation. Now we’re making good on that guarantee with “Pillars” in June!

That does look fun, but
ONLINE SEASONS PLEASE!
That would be nice if it worked, It was always hard to do on Madden.
Even easier, online tournaments. 8 teams enter, play until the finish. Could be completed in under 30 minutes. Would go well in competitive mode.
DCR do you keep ballcam on at all times?

DCR do you keep ballcam on at all times?
95% of the time. If I am trying to demo someone is about the only time I turn it off.
Gross.
I got no problem with it.Gross.
I got no problem with it.
I did notice it makes demo much easier. After posting this I read some tips online and top players state you should go on and off of ballcam depending on what you are doing. Maybe I will try mixing it up a little for certain circumstances but so far I do ballcam 100% of the time.
It was a joke, seeing as dcr is my husband...no interest in BRR's ballcam, ewww.Good for you.
I hear that BRR does ballcam 100% of the time.
Whatever makes you happy.

My ballcam is amazing
Hey everyone! Our next update at the end of June will also mark the conclusion of Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3. Of course, we’ll announce a more specific date as we get closer to launch, but in the meantime, we wanted to let you know what you can expect to see in terms of rewards based on your highest-reached competitive skill tier:
Prospect I or higher – Season 2 Prospect Rocket Trail
Challenger I or higher – Season 2 Challenger Rocket Trail
Rising Star or higher – Season 2 Star Rocket Trail
Champion or higher – Season 2 Champion Rocket Trail
Grand Champion – “Season 2 Grand Champion” Title
NOTE: You will also receive the rewards for all skill tiers below your highest. For example, a player who reached “Rising Star” will receive the Season 2 Star, Challenger, and Prospect Rocket Trails.
SEASON 3
With the beginning of the new Competitive Season, we have some larger changes planned that we wanted to share in advance of its launch:
SKILL WIPE
As the first year of competitive Rocket League draws to a close, it’s an ideal time for a clean slate. With this in mind, we will push a full Skill Rating wipe for all competitive playlists, while also watching how the skill curve shakes out without legacy data from previous seasons.
We recognize that a full reset will not solve all of the concerns raised during Season 2, but the wipe will give us valuable data to analyze as we move forward. For Grand Champion players in particular, we want to observe how the top ranks settle before deciding how to approach past complaints about stagnation and rank climbing.
:dcr:I laughed. I should have used a smiley.
Looking back, my response seems a little dry.
Still, more power to you and the ballcam of your choice.
Psyonix is being a bit cagey about their plans for 2016 at this point, but they’re excited to show the world what they have in store. The game will get its first retail release this summer, and alongside that release the developer is planning a big, and as of yet still very hush-hush, content drop, and plenty of other secret announcements, many of which they say the community will be excited about.
“Our plans for cross-network play is to one day support the feature on every platform on which we’ve released,” Dunham tells me. “We launched on PC and PS4 as cross-network, and recently became the first-ever Xbox One game to support cross-network play with a Steam PC game, but the one thing our fans have really been waiting for is PlayStation 4 to Xbox one cross-network play, and it’s one that we hope to deliver one day.”
This isn’t just an important feature for Rocket League, Dunham adds. It’s important to gaming itself. Hearing Dunham tell it, cross-platform play is almost a quest unto itself—something with far bigger implications than Rocket League itself.
“If we can reach a point where players, regardless of their platform choice, can sit down and enjoy a game together, then the implications are huge,” Dunham says. “Matchmaking is faster and your opponent quality is better because you have a stronger pool to select from. And once you have friends who were previously unable to play together because of different system choices that now can, your reach and potential reach increases dramatically. Games can be updated faster because you have unified goals with all builds. The list of advantages goes on and on.”
Neon lights, towering skyscrapers, and retro-futuristic style comes to Rocket League on June 20 with our largest update in the game’s history, “New Tokyo.”
In addition to the new arena, the Neo Tokyo update also includes the following features that we’ve been previewing over the past month:
The beginning of “Season 3” for Competitive Playlists, which resets all skill ratings and rewards last season’s players with exclusive Rocket Boosts that reflect their final rank
An expanded Item drop system that adds…
More than 20 “Rare” and “Very Rare” Item types for online, post-game drops
An easy-to-use “Trade In” system that allows players to exchange multiple Items of one rarity type for an even rarer one.
New “Painted” Items that offer different color variations on existing Garage favorites like Toppers and Wheels
Special “Certified” Items that track specific in-game stats and increase in prestige the higher those stats go
New Quick-Chat customization options that expand player choices for fast, in-game communication
New Post-Game celebrations that spotlight the winning team and allow them to jump, spin, and boost their car to show off their accomplishments
“Pillars,” a new experimental Arena that separates the field into three lanes via two massive walls in the middle of the stadium
Eight new Trophies and Achievements on all three platforms [Blog Coming July 13]
A new, in-game “Showroom” that allows players to view and purchase all previously-released and future premium DLC [Blog Coming July 15]
Quick Chat Updates
- Each Quick Chat message can now be customized by selecting from a larger list of preset messages.
- The default quick chat for “Centering!” has been changed to “Need Boost!”. “Centering!” is still available as part of the full list for players that preferred it.
- Post-Game Quick Chats have been added! They replace the “Informational” bindings once the match ends, and can also be customized. Don’t forget to “gg” after matches!
End of Game Spotlight
- After the conclusion of each match, the winning team will now be spotlighted in the center of the field, allowing players to show off. They can jump, dodge, and spin to do tricks, and can show off their battle-cars and boost trails.
- Each player can earn up to two medals for their match performance. For example, you are a “Prodigy” if you score 3-5 goals.
