On Saturday the Suns play the Rockets at home to start a two game home stand. They play the Nuggets on Monday.

Rockets (19-9) have won their last two games including an impressive 122-117 win at the Clippers on Thursday.

Suns (11-17) have lost five games in a row with their loss at the Thunder.

The game will be televised on FSAZ and is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. MST (Arizona time).

Season starting to slip away. 6 games under .500. That’s a long climb to .500.

I think Ricky Rubio may have given fans a hint as to what is going on with the Suns. They may not be fully buying into the team culture. Also there may be some trade rumors going on.

This is from a Duane Rankin article at azcentral:

“We may not be the most talented team, but we have to have something different from everybody else, and that’s heart,” Rubio said. Playing the right way and trusting the culture. Coach (Monty Williams) brought a great culture to this organization since Day 1 and we’ve got to follow it.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Doesn’t matter who is on the court, you’ve got to believe and trust and you got to do what’s right for the team before yourself and it’s that time of the year,” Rubio said. “Trade talk. You’re thinking, your agent calls you and say you got to put up more points or whatever it is. If we believe in this team and that we’re going to do something special, we’ve got to be unselfish like we have been.”

Any update on rather ayton is playing tonight?

I haven't heard anything yet but it makes sense to give Ayton some more time to heal and bring him back on December 23rd against the Nuggets.

Honest question, what is the point of watching this game? We've regressed back to the mean after our hot start. The cause for hope was Ayton's return and the team being at full strength. Welp, Ayton is still out and other important players continue to miss games due to various ailments. Even if we play competitively, how are we to know it will carry over when 2 of our 5 starters return and change up the rotations once again? Honestly, please tell me, what are some points of interest in this game for you guys? I'd like to know so I can maybe get more engaged, but I can't think of much. The best I'm coming up with is if Bridges can put up 15+ points on efficient 3 point shooting.

Welp, this just continues to be lost season for Ayton. Terrific use of his low salary. He’s not even learning at this juncture with his missing 89% of the games due to suspension and another 7% lost to his current ankle sprain. Yup, that number is north of 96% of games missed thus far. Bravo young buck.

I'm sure I am one of the few but I'm still waiting for Ty Jerome to get untracked. Once he gets his shot going (he was a good shooter in college) I think he will surprise.

Also I wouldn't mind see Jalen Lecque get some minutes. It's always the little things within a game I look for especially when things are going bad.

Good grief. Injuries, sickness constantly.

Not really interested without Rubio or Ayton.
