Being that your profession has been made a topic of conservation, I'll
offer the following differences between a basketball court (and its fans)
and a courtroom. The differences in the term 'court' are interesting.
A basketball court and participation in a sports board (rooting for your
team and sharing opinions) are quite opposite what it takes to succeed
in a courtroom.
Whereas an attorney's responsibility is to beat the opposing attorney at
all costs, regardless of whose client is legally and morally right or wrong.
Which is why, I guess, I have agreed with almost all of the sports points
you have made, but not the way you go about presenting them.
Sharing sports opinions (yes, sharing) require a far different skill set than
beating your adversaries in a courtroom.
Wishing a great holiday season to all!
