The minute this team sees a blackout game again, everything changes. And I think that will happen this year. Maybe even this weekend.

Probably money is he one thing the Bidwills would respond to. If they in anyway think Graves is causing them to lose revenue due to poor performance he will be out the door. It would take things like continued poor performance causing the loss of season ticket sales. A drum beat of continued duration by fans would not hurt but it will be money loss in one way or the other that they can lay at the feet of Graves. I do not live in your area so I have no idea if the season tickets are selling to loyal fans or just tourist and large companies. I think I read the new stadium has sold out every game. As long as that continues I get the feeling winning is not a high priority on their list of things to do. I have given up on Graves leaving during my life time. The new stadium sort of sealed the deal.

How about VP of concession sales? or VP of equipment purchases or VP of hiring non-football related employees....anything so he doesn't impact the team ON the field.

He'd probably make a bad deal with the vendors and you wouldn't be able to get a brewski or decent corn dog.

You guys need to stop complaining....I gave up on ripping Whiz, constantly deriding Bidwill, and saying that we should replace Graves because he has no eye for talent, overpays mediocre players and is a bafoon. Nothing we say or do will get these guys out of here and get quality guys in these positions because of the Bidwill ownership. They would rather suck on Russ Grimms hairy ******** than get a quality OLine. We will be in the running for Luck and will lose out because of Corn on the Kolb....I refuse to post much until these things are addressed .....so there is a benefit in it for you

Why? If the team is terrible why should we ignore it and let them get away with putting a crummy product on the field? As I've said before it's not like there is another NFL team across the street we can go follow.

I doubt we see an occupy UoP movement, but lots of the more fair weatherfans will desert the Cards for the better fare of Directv.

This has always been an enigma to me... Phoenix always has fair weather so the fans should always be on board and support the Cards...:D

The Arizona Cardinals take a 1-6 record and the NFL's oldest roster into Week 8.

That's usually an undesirable combination even though the Cardinals' starters are younger on average. The team has the NFL's oldest defensive backups. The offensive backups are on the older side as well, thanks largely to an absence of young talent on the offensive line.
This pretty much sums up the recent work of Whis and Graves. We suck too much to be competitive and lack the youth to rebuild.

I realize Graves enjoys an inordinate level of job security, but a loss tomorrow would have to make ownership think. Teams simply don't suffer through back-to-back seasons with 7 game losing streaks and stay the course with coaching and management. I have a feeling somebody is closer to being fired right now than we realize. It might not be Graves, but even the Bidwills have a threshold for losing.

Why not Graves? He has been here since 1997. But it won't be him. Sad, sad, sad. Mediocrity is acceptable with the Bidwills as long as they make their money.

Is it a coincidence that the teams with the worst records have the worst front office?
