It is hard to believe he was still there. I like Rogers a great deal, but Rolle will be more of an impact player. Think Aeneas Williams, but a more physical player. Forget the speed talk, he has enough. He may be the return guy as well, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them take a late round specialist like Sheldon.

Could not agree more, H. Pacman looked way too small.

Harry when do you think we will look for the 3rd CB. Will it be today in your opinion? Any ideas on who?

It's official then -- great pick.

You can't argue with this pick IMO. I thought Johnson or Rolle were the best fit for us, although I liked Carlos Rogers too.

Pac-Man also, has alot of "Street Dirt" on him. I am happy we drafted the Mama's Boy.

Great pick by the Cards!!! Denny Green has earned our trust. Last year was the best draft this franchise has had since moving to Arizona, and this year will be a great one as well. Go Cards!!!

ESPN had a nice clip of him returning kicks Harry.

Doubtful that DG would take a chance...was it Sehorn that was injured returning kicks when he was a starting CB?

We will have a very strong defense. Rolle is one hell of a playmaker which is what Denny really likes.

Happy Draft Day fellow ASFNers! I think we all were reluctant to get excited about the prospect of drafting Antrel Rolle, because we thought, like most people, that Rolle would be picked by the Titans. Well, now we can really get excited because DG had his chance to draft Antrel Rolle...which is what DG wanted all along. I really believe that Green wanted Benson or Rolle...and then he was going to draft OLB if neither was there. Well, Rolle was there and DG's decision was made to order.

Hey, Harry...go back to your article and change the photo from Pacman to Antrel...and you can easily amend your title...to...Mock and Rolle!

I dunno if this has been posted, but Torry Holt said, "Forget speed, the Cardinals just got a football player." He thought Rolle was fast enough.

Yes, and draft a TE or DT with #55.

I'd personally go CB again with #55....I just don't think we'll get value at DT or TE there(but lets see how the draft unfolds).

CBSSportsline says Rolle has a well-developed bubble? What the heck does that mean?

Notes: Really made a name for himself by shutting down top wideouts such as Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin...Not in the same class as Charles Woodson or Champ Bailey were coming out by right there in the next tier with guys like Chris McAlister and Terence Newman...A potential shutdown cornerback in the NFL and one of the rare players who can dominate a game from the corner position...Should be one of the premier players available and a top pick.

It's funny. I just found this scouting report. Maybe Denny just talked to his receivers before making this pick.

If we can stay where we are in the second round we can get an impact TE. If we can get Henry without swapping seconds this draft will be a success and the rest is just gravy.
