Rise from the Ashes III
I heard that Rosen himself expects to play. But if Rosen is unhealthy enough that he has to sit, would they keep him active as the backup? Seems like an(other) unnecessary risk to their QBOTF. Playing for a HC that is on thin ice in meaningless games in a questionable offense when you've got two essentially expendable vets there? I guess it will depend on whether the injury can be exacerbated by playing but if I'm King Cardinal, I don't risk Rosen further injuring himself at this point.Pick up 49ers D in Fantasy, for next week Denver got me tons of points. Glennon offense will be horrid
Of course, I'd know that a whole new staff is going to be in place next year so my decision would be easy. But Rosen gaining more live action experience seems to be outweighed by him playing on a gimping toe, possibly straining other areas by compensating behind a shaky o-line presumably learning a new way of doing things.
